!!! Priceless location, close to the ocean, and since this is my only criteria, I can close my eyes on other things.
The lady, who checked us in, was very friendly and helpful, very attentive with any request. Much appreciated.
The breakfast lady very grumpy and whatever you ask for - even standard breakfast black tea bag - expect and short “NO!” as an answer.
Sadly the downstairs rooms are very dark and ours had some mould so we slept with open doors for the air to circulate.
Bed unsteady.
Our bed sheets were changed only once during 2 weeks stay.

Stunning and relaxing place, 25 mins walk to town and 10 mins walk to the beautiful Meia Praia beach.
The hotel has a nice pool.
Breakfast was delicious.
Staff very pleasant and always smiling and happy to help for any request.
I would definitely go back!

The Moroccan decor of the room gave it a warm and cosy atmosphere. It was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. It was nice to have a veranda with a great view to the sea. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, letting us drop off our bags early and giving us directions to explore the area. We liked the rural surroundings and the closeness to the beach.
The hosts had a small dog which was quite noisy in the morning and very defensive if you came through the reception room. We are both OK with dogs but this could be upsetting for people who aren't. A baby gate might help limit its access to guests. We stayed in the building where the hosts lived, so you might not have this problem in other parts of the hotel.
Not a criticism of the hotel, but it is quite a long walk uphill from the rail station or marina so be prepared if you are coming on foot carrying bags and consider taking a taxi.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time staying at this apartment. The property was clean, had everything we needed and had lots of space (the apartment was much bigger than expected which was a present surprise). The staff were really friendly which really added to our experience. It’s only a 10-15 min walk to the nearest beach (Meia Praia) and about 30 min walk into the city centre. Although it was a bit of a struggle walking to town in the heat at times, it was easily enough to catch an Uber which was very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay somewhere with great views, have everything they need for self cater for an affordable price. It is basic but you won’t be disappointed.
Although the property was clean, we did find little bits of broken glass on floor. It would be nice if the beds were just little more comfortable (a mattress topper?), but for the price you can’t really complain.

Beautiful location. We really enjoyed. The room was very nice, quiet and clean. The swimming pool was perfect and we could even use the BBQ. Just a couple of minutes away from the sea. I can really recommend.

As before (we stayed here 4 years ago) we enjoyed staying at this duplex, the facilities are great, the proximity to Lagos centre is great (we enjoy walking, it takes 25 minutes to get to the centre of Lagos on foot, 10 minutes to the beach). The regular change of towels and bins is adequate, the staff are very friendly, and there was absolutely no problem with the all essential wifi signal.
Nothing to write here!

Very nice staff, especially the receptionist ALDINA is friendly and helpful. 😘 It was nice that they carefully prepared for our arrival, as they had painted it, and given us a bigger refrigerator at our request, and had a bigger TV than in the pictures. We liked it the Moroccan-style furniture an accessories, the well-kept garden, clean pool, and parking on site. We really liked the beautiful long beach with golden sand, a cozy harbor, coastal and city promenades, wonderful hiking spots nearby with impressive rock formations. We definitely recommend it! 👍 We will back another time! 👋

A beautiful beach is approx 400m away. Views of the Atlantic and Lagos are good. Setting is quiet and tranquil. Maids were very helpful and responsive.
The administrative manager, Aldina, was very attentive and helpful. I am not sure who the general manager is.
The "kitchen" was very sparsely and cheaply equipped. Other studio apartments are better equipped than mine was. I don't know if prices vary depending on that.
The place is presented as a B&B; it is not.

We loved the place, it is a beautiful villa and the decoration of the room is a Boho style, very colourful. We loved the side lamps in the room, they make the atmosphere of the room cosy and peaceful. We were welcomed by the owner I guess, who was very kind at all times. Also the staff were friendly and kind. We must thank you all for the upgrade we received for our stay as we were having couple of problems with mould in our first room. The upgraded room made us feel comfortable and really have a rest and recovering from our stressful life. I couldn't recommend more, even during the low season.
We had difficulties with the connection with the Wi-Fi, but we were quite interested in switch off during our stay.

Quiet and peaceful.. Good location. 30 min walk from old town. 15 min from marina. Many restaurants at both. Huge duplex apartment. Plenty of parking.
The name. It isn't cheap, chic or seventies.
Aircon only in bedroom tho we didn't need actually need it.

This place has a great potential to be a very very nice hotel but the management have clearly not made bare minimum effort to maintain the facilities to an acceptable standard - everything looks and feels dated and the bed and pillows are the most uncomfortable I've ever slept in. The guy at the reception was rude and inappropriate when we arrived to check in. The access road to this hotel was not even a proper road, just dust and rubble with holes that can damage your car.
5.0
the location was excellent, staff was friendly and efficient, upper room (duplex 2) was well ventilated and had a nice view out to the ocean
some things were deteriorated, aged, broken, not well kept, dirty, etc.
for example: countertop burnt, toaster was difficult to get working, light fixtures and switches cracked or loose, porch light didn't work and was loose, balcony light was mounted upside down (?), couches dirty and stained, windows stained inside pane (impossible to clean - need to change, in general there's little lighting especially in the kitchen), door lock was a little difficult soome times
there was no broom and dustpan for regular daily use
outside installations needed to be weeded and swept up near the pool - the tree left a lot of debris and there were weeds growing through the joints in the patio area by the pool (this was all week and its olny a few minutes to take care of)
