Lovely and well looked after old village house, completely equipped double kitchen. Beautiful and spacious garden, with outside kitchen and play area for kids. I loved the possibility of the garden as we travelled with dogs, so we could let them run free there.

First not-so-nice surprise was on our arrival, when we were informed that there is an extra charge for dogs, which wasn't mentioned before on confirmation and as we arrived in the evening, where else we would go, so I had no choice but to pay. After settling price of 60 euro, I was charged 76. I understand it is not easy for every host to accomodate people with pets, and wherever I stay with my dogs, I always do my best to keep them quiet and leave the place clean. However, being charged extra on top of total price, I would expect staff counting with some extra cleaning (well for what did I pay then?). To my surprise staff was complaining to me about the dog hair and asked me to pick it up. In our 4 days stay, there was no effort from the staff to clean the place, even we were outside all day. Another really-not-welcome surprise was, that if you are looking for some privacy, do not go here. Although I know this is a hostel and we were assigned the room, we were told we are alone in the house. Therefore we didn't bring our bags to second floor and just left them in ground floor. To our shock, staff members were walking into a house anytime, without any knock, any WORD! When we locked the door, they just unlocked and walked in, nevermind if it was 8 am or 8 pm and you are in shower or want to sleep. Once member of the staff walked in to the house (we were upstairs) and left all doors wide open! With all our possesions on the tables there. I was shocked to find this out, not only dogs could run out to the street and be lost / driven over, but anybody from the street could walk in! I did not feel safe or comfortable at all. With little cafe and men sitting in front of the door, be prepared for some noise and cigarette smoke in your kitchen and common area. Last bit were the ants! Thousands of ants everywhere!
