Very comfortable bed. Lovely clean bathroom. Very good breakfast. Great location with parking.

Quite impersonal. Room definitely needed a comfortable chair and would benefit from a little fridge. Guest lounge is useless as it closes at 7pm.

Good position and parking

Brilliant bed and breakfast. We were very impressed with the way everything ran so efficiently and the breakfast was extremely good. It was spotlessly clean and literally a five minute walk into the town centre and yet in a lovely quiet area. Each bedroom has it's own allotted parking space so no worries over parking. Marvellous. We have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending!

Nothing to dislike at all.

Room well appointed and comfortable in a quiet residential location within easy walking distance of town centre. Easy car parking in a driveway in front of the property. Excellent breakfast provided and a small lounge for use of guests was a bonus.

Directions to get to the property could have been clearer.

It was located in a very quiet avenue which is within walking distance of the main Street. A relaxing place to stay. Parking off Street with allocated parking bay. A really nice touch which was a first for all the places we have stayed. Breakfast was excellent. Hostess Angie is a very colourful character (a proud Cornish woman).

The bed was very comfortable. The room was a good size , well equipped and clean . Good size shower that worked well . Good choice of food at breakfast .

Holly Lodge was very impersonal , which want what we expected from a small establishment.

Check in was very efficient and from 11am which was far earlier compared to similar stays in similar properties. The breakfast was exceptional and the owner even bought gluten free bread especially for my morning toast. Not only was the cleaning to a high standard but also, the staff making our bed took time to make my wife's ' toy highland cow' very comfortable which made us smile on return each day. Very friendly hosts added to our enjoyment. The property is very well situated within a few minutes of the A1 with excellent parking and is five minutes walk from the centre of Alnwick.

The only thing that I can think of is the small bathroom which had a chipped floor tile which needed repair.

An excellent B and B, provided all we needed, in a great location for the town of Alnwick.

Not happy with Nescafe and Long Life milk!! Probably just a personal thing, but felt it did not match the quality of the accommodation.

Room and bed were comfortable very clean. Very efficient providing towels and bed made during breakfast. The breakfast was excellent and staff were very friendly. I could not fault Holly Lodge in the slightest.

Excellent breakfast, very pleasant staff. Good location for visiting Alnwick Castle and Gardens. Reserved parking space very welcome. Several good restaurants within walking distance.

Visitor lounge was looked at 7pm. As we were travelling with friends we would have liked to sit in there after we had been out for a meal.

it was very clean. it was near town centre

we are both tall people and were not told we would be in a room in which we had to bend down all the time to get round. I also didn’t like the fact there was always towels all around each room every morning on the floor. not very hygienic and a trip hazard

Location is really good, away from the main street means it's quiet and relaxing.

There was dust on the radiator in the bathroom which does not suggest luxury.
