The location was fantastic, easy access to the main strip into town, plus a few markets and the waterfront. We accidentally took the long way to the beach the first time, but found our way back on the faster route. This isn't the best location for the best swimming beaches. We drove out across the island to visit other beaches which were much nicer. The host was very attentive, always popping up anytime that we came out the door. It was nice and quiet! We appreciated having the fridge in the room, but didn't use any of the other kitchen supplies because there wasn't a food prep space or a sink other than the bathroom one.

I didn't read carefully after applying the parking filter. There is no affiliated parking, but we were able to find close parking in September. Not sure what it would have been like during the height of tourist season in August.

Skiathos House is ideally situated in a backstreet of the town, not very far off of Papadiamantis Street. I had a family room on the ground floor at the rear of the building looking out from my balcony onto a petite green garden. There is also white patio tables and chairs for the residents to enjoy this area. Denis the owner is a great host, meeting you on arrival and arranging a taxi and being there at my departure. The room has everything I needed at no extra cost. Air con, ironing board and iron, safe, a kitchen with plenty of utensils and equipment. toaster, kettle, food blender, etc. Denis offered beach towels should I need them. I took him up on this offer after leaving mine on a boat trip.

the garden rooms are so calm and lovely, the location is wonderful, just behind the Main Street coming from the port. gorgeous shops and restaurants around the corner. Denis, the owner, looked after us really well. the rooms are spacious and well equipped.

the bathrooms are a little dated a basic but exceptionally clean so no complaints.

Room only but equipped with hair dryer, crockery, cutlery,frappe whisk, kettle. Denis( proprietor)was most helpful & went out of his way to provide anything you might need. Even handed out a brolly, when rain was expected. Room service excellent. Most comfy beds I have had in Greeceafter 35 years travelling there. Wi - fi good. Rooms on to garden , very pleasant, no privacy in front room on small side street. Very well located for town, beach & harbour. Considering central location, very quiet. Very secure. Keys to room, front door & personal safe.

Fresh towels daily but a bit hard. Front room directly onto street.

Denis couldn't have been more helpful. The apartment was in a great position for the town and bus stop. We liked having such a good size balcony overlooking the garden. The rooms were cleaned every day with fresh bedding every other day. Will be definitely be returning.

The bathroom could have been updated with an overhead shower.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen with everything you need, tv, plug socket next to bed, fast hot shower, rooms cleaned everyday. Service was exceptionally good and Denis really cares so much about his guests, it’s like a home from home!

There’s nothing I didn’t like about Skiathos House and I would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended gem in the centre of town!

Given a warm welcome by the owner. The accomodation was first class in a quiet, pleasant garden setting.

Nothing to dislike.

Just chilled out, and relaxing, loved the simple roof terrace with the views. I'd go out in the middle of the night and sit.... No one can really see you. You can watch the world. Nice kitchenette. Aircon. It all worked. Actually we came for a night and stayed for a week.

There was nothing not to like. Denys the perfect host, helpful but not intrusive. Great town location, and we felt very comfortable. However we are easy to please, and we enjoyed the top floor apartment with all round terrace

Fabulous location for Skiathos Town. Denis the owner was a perfect host. Beach towels and parasols were offered. Iron , ironing board were also provided in the room. The room was spotlessly cleaned everyday. Lovely little garden at the back of the property for guest use.

Very central and quiet at the same time. Very clean. Comfortable room and bathroom. Very helpfull and to the point staff.

Great hospitality, Denis was very helpful in giving us recommendations for different places to visit and eat in and they were spot on. I would recommend with both hands - great location, the room was clean and the care of the owner was amazing.

Everything, very friendly staff, nice rooms and very comfortable. Free upgrade because of low season, location close to the main street of the small city. A lot of useful tips to make sure we had a good time on the island. Just perfect!
