Serene Sierra Cabin in the Big Trees Forest- Dog Woods Cabin
Godetevi l'avvelenamento da aria fresca e la tranquillità in questo 3bd / 1 rilassante e sereno. 5 bagni 1968 groovy A-frame cabin. Situato su 1. 5 acri boscosi, il cortile è il Calaveras Big Trees State Park. Tutto l'anno Moran Creek corre sul bordo della proprietà. Tutto il legno all'interno: soffitti in pino e pannelli in noce, grande stufa a legna con tre posti piani per cucinare. Cucina completamente attrezzata con banconi vintage formica rosa e bianco e bar per la colazione che può ospitare quattro. Pranzo sul tavolo circolare ricoperto di resina realizzato dal designer della prima seggiovia a Squaw Valley. Gigante sequoia avvolgente per godersi la beatitudine di Big Trees-Calaveras State Park nel cortile sul retro. Al piano principale, due camere da letto: una matrimoniale, una con due gemelli, bagno completo con grande vasca / doccia; nel soppalco: una matrimoniale e una doppia e 1/2 bagno. Il divano è pieno di gente. Arredamento retrò con lampade in vetro arancione, tappeti kilim e piumini su tutti i letti. Tastiera elettrica vintage e sistema stereo completo. Mazzo enorme del redwood circondato dalla primavera di fioritura di cornioli. Può ospitare 7-8 .. Cene di fine settimana al lodge Snowflake, cucina completa o barbecue a gas in cabina. 35 "per il comprensorio sciistico di Bear Valley, in discesa o per lo sci di fondo, 20" per la degustazione di vini negli storici Murphys del 1850. Così tanto da fare o no!

Our overall trip was wonderful. We appreciated the coziness of the cabin and the surrounding property. Our kids loved walking around with our dog. We took advantage of Big Trees State Park as we as the brewery.

Dark photos hid things like carpet padding coming out from the floor in the upstairs bathroom and a very dusty and very lived in space. This felt like I was in someone else's space a bit too much. Pots and pans had many caked on stains and grime so we microwaved everything and ended up buying paper towels and paper plates.

Despite no TV which wasn’t necessary this place rally grows on you over time. The kids loved it and the host, Robin was super friendly and accommodating. Unlike other rentals — this home is lived in by the hosts so their personal touch and 60s flare is on filial display. We had a great time! Keep in mind, the stairs are quite long to get to the main door and there are stairs of course to the loft so if that’s an issue this might not be the place for you. Otherwise, soak up the chill, warm, groovy vibes ingrained in the home and enjoy!

We had a lovely time in Arnold. The lakes, we went to three, we all beautiful and with such warm temps, the water felt great. The cabin truly is right out of the 1970's but everything is clean and well kept - it's a trip and took me straight back to my childhood memories.
Our son and dog both had so much fun running through the woods, splashing in the lakes and enjoying the stars!

I really enjoy the house, The only thing that I would change would be to take more of the personal belongings off the side tables where people sit and next to the bed. put those away because it was hard to put a soda or glass of water. I felt like I was intruding on the space but I really liked it overall. Would recommend if you want to unplug from electronics.

Sweet cabin in the woods
We loved our stay here! Full of nostalgia, especially if you were a kid in the 70’s to 80’s. My 8 year old was intrigued with the decor and throwback technology. Relaxing retreat
Nice, cozy SO QUIET AND PEACEFUL. Cabin has everything you need to have a relaxing getaway. Great trails close by for exploring and a short drive away from the grocery store and restaurants.

We had such a great weekend at this cabin. It is in a quiet part of Blue Lake Springs and is cozy and comfortable. It’s less than five minutes to the rec center and our kids had the best time in the pool. Our doggo was super happy there too. Would definitely love to rent again.

Nice property in a great location
This house is in a great neighborhood. It is very peaceful and centrally located to both Arnold and Bear Valley. The owners are very responsive and gave us very useful information.

Easy communication with owners. The cabin had a awesome wood burning fireplace. We had so much fun playing board games around it. Nice to get away from TV, computers and technology.

We enjoyed our stay in the 70’s themed cabin in the woods. The wood stove kept the cabin comfortable. Lighting is low, orange and green bulbs do not give much light. Great location and beautiful scenery. Allowed our dogs and cabin does not smell like pets. We will return.

What a great place! We took our kids (ages 4 and 2) for a little getaway and this cabin is perfect. The deck is huge and has a beautiful view. Owners are great and very helpful/available. My kids keep asking if they can go back. We definitely will!

So much land around to explore and an amazing wrap around deck to enjoy your morning coffee or a cocktail while the sunsets between the trees! Cabin was very homey and had vintage vibes to it! Very private lot with no close neighbors, completely stocked kitchen with any dish / utensil you would can think of. Dog bowls were even set up inside if you planned on bringing a furry friend! We were able to have an amazing time and still abide by the restrictions! So much land around to explore and an amazing wrap around deck to enjoy your morning coffee or a cocktail while the sunsets between the trees! Cabin was very homey and had vintage vibes to it! Stay here, you won’t regret it!

We had a great stay. The cabin is clean well stocked and cozy. The location may be the best part-its close to town but the property has a lot of space so you do get that off the grid feeling with the amenities of town. The owner and communication was great too. Would definitely return.
