Palazzo Franza is located in the center of the old town. It is an old building, a museum inside it. Great rooms, private terraces with greenery, good view over the town. It emanates the power and strength of the family of yesteryear and, perhaps, of today. Perfect and helpful hosts.

Because it is so old, Palazzo Franza has some issues with the noise inside rooms. Not the perfect breakfast... just good.

Palazzo Franza Musaro' is easy to find and it is in the hearth of the Ugento historic centre, a really astonishing place. Mr Franza came give me the welcoming personally and took me to the room at the ground floor of his historical building, passing through a very welcoming court with columns, plants and seats. the room had no windows, but well ventilated, heated and dry. Very spacious and with all the comforts, even a sofa. The bathroom very comfortable as well. Mr Franza is a very polite host, knowing I was alone for work, he adviced me on the best places to have a nice dinner. Also in the morning he offered to share a good breakfast and a chat at the nearby bar, that I enjoyed a lot. Furthermore he gave me the tour of the fabulous apartments upstairs, finely furnished and decorated, with astonishing fresco art works under the vaults. I greatly recommend the stay
