Lovely couple and lovely building. I stayed for a good nights rest during Boom festival and had a great sleep. Woke up to amazing views, a nourishing breakfast and traditional music being played by the host.

Amazing place. Tons of character and love poured into this by the owners. The interior design was really charming and rustic. The owners were fantastic, flexible, attentive, charming couple.

Great place with great customer service.

The guesthouse in the small village of Pinha Garcia was quiet and charming. Our hosts were very hospitable and helpful, offering us restaurant suggestions ( not easy on a holiday weekend!) and places in the area to see. The host played some lovely tunes on the guitar he made in the morning. Beautiful breakfast.

I liked everything!

This is a unique house, hand built by the owner, Sr Pascoal, who is also a talented guitarist. The welcoming feeling of the accommodation, and the soothing smell of the natural wood instantly soothe you as you arrive. There's a terrace, which is accessible to all guests, with a stunning view over the countryside. We would also recommend booking a massage with Sra Isobel. It was the highlight of our break. The house is clearly signposted from the main road, you should enter from the west of the village and there's parking for 4 or 5 cars available, and a pretty garden. 15 minutes walk from the natural river swimming pool and fossil trail. A very relaxing stay with lovely hosts and a tasty breakfast.
