The property was very clean, the view and available amenities in the community were also a plus. It’s quiet but also close about to the city to gather supplies or eat out.. We will definitely come back.

This property was wonderful. The pictures are accurate - furnishings and views. The home was spotless when we arrived - kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living room, porches. The neighborhood is a quiet and private with an expansive view of the lake and surrounding hill country. The home is the most comfortable rental in which we have ever stayed, a truly relaxing place to recharge! Joe was very responsive to messages and check in/check out was a breeze.

Joe and Amy are the absolute BEST! We housed family members at their gorgeous and spacious home during a wedding and everyone was so pleased. My sister 'the neat freak' was SUPER happy with the cleanliness. Wonderful location!

The house was clean and well-kept and on the best location of the Hollow properties. The view from the house top patio was awesome and enjoyable. The Hilltop smokehouse was right across the street.

The location had a beautiful view and the outside patio was enjoyable. We were two couples - one stayed upstairs and the other downstairs - and so each had some privacy with den/dining room area a great meet-up space.

We had a great time staying here. It is difficult to find a place to stay during F1 weekend. This was a fantastic getaway from everything. The view from the second floor balcony is stunning. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Beautiful home nestled on hilltop , spectacular views of the lake. We spent most of our time on the deck & ate our meals out there. The house was clean, & comfortable. We would recommend staying here & look forward to returning soon.

The Castillo Casita is absolutely beautiful! My family and I have struggled with the decision to travel due to on-going concerns with COVID-19. So, as you can imagine, I was extremely concerned with the cleanliness of the home selected as our vacation spot. Not only were we comfortable with the selected location, it was obvious there was a lot of attention given to the care of this home. The most amazing part of the stay was the view from both the lower and upper balconies. Totally breathtaking! The upper balcony sits outside the master bedroom suite. The morning breeze while relaxing on the balcony was priceless! The owner provides a grill on the lower deck which makes it easy for families to enjoy without having to go offsite. My family enjoyed both breakfast and dinners on the balcony. The home is very comfortable and inviting. The owner provides a great movie selection, Alexa option for music, and fun board/card games. The owner, Joe, was extremely nice throughout this process. As soon as I selected his home for our vacation, he contacted me directly to greet me. He was very efficient in delivering documents requiring signatures and made sure my family and I were comfortable in his home. Great property! Great location! Great service! Great owner! I highly recommend the Castillo Casita!

Well stocked kitchen for cooking big meals and 3 bathrooms made it easy for our group. Hollows Resort Lake Travis was a great holiday . The owner was so personable and communicated and answered all questions and quickly and welcomed us with flowers and snacks ! Thanks for wonderful weekend !

Super enjoyable weekend trip at Lake Travis. The house is in a great location, about an hour outside of Austin. The top floor balcony has amazing views. Joe was a great host, very responsive and let us check-in early. Highly recommended!!

We took advantage of the available amenities around the house, hiking of the trails, swimming in the lake, smokehouse grill, and just relaxing on the balconies taking in the sunset and listening to nature.

Very nice property, in need of general maintenance - master BD mattress needs replaced, light bulbs, water dripping on balconies, broken deck furniture. Beautiful view from the upstairs balcony. Owner was very responsive to help us get access to gated areas.

My daughter, husband, and I booked this house for the 4th of July weekend. Beautiful views of the lake and fireworks! The two decks made the trip worth it, with plenty of outdoor furniture for our local friends to stop by for a bbq! The kids also loved the neighborhood pool, which is gorgeous. Highly recommend and would stay again.

The house was perfect! Beautiful view, equipped with everything we needed. Kids had a great time playing in the back. Loved the balconies!

The home was very nice. Did notice that the sheets on the bed in at least one of the rooms had not been washed. Problem with one of the toilets making a loud noise the entire stay. Also there were no blankets on any of the beds. ( Just sheets and a light quilt. Overall for the price, it was a nice home, just a few little things needed tending to. Note -it is not as close to downtown Austin as I believed it would be, at least a good hour drive.

A great vacation is always better with a wonderful view. Two large decks, each with views that were miles long and across a glittering lake, made this a spectacular location for our weekend getaway. The house was roomy, open, and well-equipped and maintained, with plenty of natural light. The house and entire development were very nicely landscaped. It was such a relaxing pleasure to be there. We took advantage of the hot tub available at the "beach club." The pools were beautiful too, but we were a little late in the season to enjoy those this time, since it was a crisp November weekend. We also loved the walking trails. We intended to build a fire outside at the smokehouse fire pit, but couldn't ever drag ourselves away from the upper balcony and lake view in the evening to go and do that. The host kindly checked on us after we arrived, and was accessible for questions. Would highly recommend this rental.

WONDERFUL!! Photos and description are spot on and if anything don't do enough justice to this wonderful property and experience. Working with the owner was hassle-free, seamless and easy, as well. There was four of us old friends in the Austin area for the annual Formula 1 race; I had set up this accommodation for us this year and my friends were amazed at what I was able to obtain for us at such a reasonable price. The house and property was spotless and reeked of cleanliness upon arrival. The pictures don't do even begin to show how immensely stunning the views are of the lake. The neighborhood is QUIET throughout the day and evening; you could hear a pin drop at night and it was a nice change of pace from my typical hurried city-life. The closest grocery store isn't too close (as stipulated in the description and other reviews), but it's not that far and with proper planning is no issue. All in all we were extremely satisfied with our stay and would highly recommend this BEAUTIFUL property for anyone looking to get away - thanks for having us!!

Rented this for a girls weekend and had the most wonderful time! The property had a gorgeous view of Lake Travis and was tucked back with a very nice resort area feel. Very fast and east drive to the Hollows Marina! The property owner was also very quick to respond and easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone!

This home was beautiful. The view from the second floor of the home is breathtaking. The sunrises and sunsets really made the trip worthwhile. We have photos taken from the terrace that look like post cards. We plan to frame and mount them in our home. This home was roomy, with up to date kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. It was very comfortable. There is a beach club and marina available for your use. Be sure to get instructions and codes to access these amenities, however. We wasted precious time trying to figure this out. Other than that, our trip was amazing. The home was literally on a hill top. I know we will go back in the future.
