While the view and location can't be beat the house itself left a lot to be desired, especially for the price. The walls were dingy, bedrooms sparce with little storage and only 1 towel per person.
The dining room table only has 6 chairs and cars parking in the parking lot at night shine their headlights directly in the bedrooms.

Absolutely LOVED the unit! This was our first time visiting Lake Tahoe, and with this property being right on the water, it did NOT disappoint! Views were spectacular! Plenty of room for our group of 7.
The only issue that we found is when we first arrived, we couldn’t find the building very easily. I don’t think that I ever saw numbers on the building. If they are there, they were not very visible when one is arriving at dusk. That was a minor bump, but definitely not a deal breaker for returning.

This is an amazing property to be sure. It is extremely comfortable, beautifully decorated and well maintained. It had everything we needed for our stay. The master shower and water pressure were awesome. The master bed was very comfortable. The lake views are really amazing. You are only steps away! The fireplace was so warm and wonderful. There was only one downside to our stay. The dishwasher broke down on the third day of our 8-day stay. I called the property management contact. A repairperson was sent the next day. Unfortunately, he was unable to fix it so we hand washed our dishes for the remainder of our stay. We cooked in on most nights.

Beautiful view. Lovely home. Maintenance needed: dishwasher wont lock & cant be run, faucet broken in kitchen, steamer spout missing in nespresso machine, ice maker doesn't work, all shampoo/soap dispensers empty in showers, 1 ceiling fan inoperable, need more towels for 6 people.

Great property for a group. We loved sitting on the deck looking directly at the lake. Brockway has everything you need for a fun family stay in Tahoe. This unit had everything we needed for cooking family meals and relaxing.

The unit was in a very nice location- close to shops and King’s Beach. It had a great view of the lake. The property could be kept up a little better. One bedroom upstairs didn’t have any window coverings and people from the parking area could look right in. The parking lot lights could not be blocked out at night. The second upstairs bedroom had a window covering that didn’t work and was in the down position our entire stay. We could not open the closet doors in this room because the second twin bed was too close to the closet door. Multiple light bulbs were out (about 10) so it was a little on the dark side at night. The BBQ grill did not get hot enough to cook any meat. Most of the dining room chairs were so old and worn that we sank into the cushions. I expected a little more for the price we paid.

We enjoyed everything about this home! The house is very well cared for and nicely appointed. It's a short walk into town or to the sandy beach (a beautiful rocky beach is just steps from the porch). The views from the porch and balcony are simply amazing!

Rental unit location was great but had several issues including a electric grill that didn’t work, dining room chairs had no padding in the cushions and were awkward to sit on. Guest bedroom with Queen bed had no curtain on sliding glass door. Not only to block the sun, but you could see right into the bedroom from the front of the unit and had zero privacy. The ottoman in the living room was missing a leg. There were also no detailed instructions or a map provided to where exactly the unit was located.
Further, for the price of the unit I would have expected cable tv. Not only was there no cable tv, we couldn’t gain access to Download our own tv apps because the owners have it password protected. Just overall disappointing for the price!

Three brothers stayed here for a ski trip. Beautiful location right on the lake. Getting the correct entry code was a bit of a challenge, but management company was helpful. The only issue was with the water auto-cutoff due to a toilet that ran a little. All water to the unit was disabled for about 30 hours, which was very problematic. Management company did come to repair, eventually.

Very relaxing and cozy. The sound of the water is so soothing and refreshing. 1 of the best places we have stayed so far and we’ve been all over. Felt like home was hard to leave look forward to coming back. Was hard to find at night a map could be helpful and the water pressure cutting off and on is tricky but that’s about it.

The condo was very spacious with enough comfortable seating, sleeping, bathing and eating for everyone. The view of the lake and access to the town exceeded my expectations too. A definite comeback to visit kind of place.. thanks for sharing your beautiful piece of paradise.

Great condo, well appointed and with the most amazing location. Right on the lake and just as advertised. Very comfortable. The views from the deck and balcony are fabulous and great spots to watch the lake in all different weather and light.

This condo has been upgraded beautifully and has a great location with a terrific deck overlooking Lake Tahoe. We would stay here again.

The condo was in a great location and as listed 4 bed 3 bath. Checking in was easy as was parking on property. The unit however needed a major deep cleaning and paint. The furniture was filthy and in poor condition. The walls had dirty smears all over… this made every space feel unclean. The towels provided smelled like mildew and there was no back up linens or towels.

Live, Love, Lake Tahoe
Nice place to stay right on the lake while you're in Tahoe. It is an older property with updated amenities. If you're going there to spend time on the lake and in the outdoors it really is the place to be.
Just remember that you're 6000 feet up so if you plan to do some work while you're there the internet service does not work in the evenings which can be a problem with your teens when they have to disconnect from social media for a few days. I loved the fact that it gave me the opportunity to disconnect from the world for a few days. If you're planning to go, leave your work at home! Which is what a vacation should be.

Great lake front house with several rooms
Great location right on the lake. Several rooms easily fit our family. The kitchen had several useful tools and plenty of cutlery. The unit was slightly outdated and we struggled with the thermostat (got very very hot at night!), however overall we loved our stay with our family.

For price, it needs updates
It pains me to leave an average review for a property. We’ve stayed at several homes via VRBO and this one was definitely our biggest letdown. I’ll echo some of the past reviewers - location is excellent, love the setting, some of the rooms that are updated are great, the space was very comfortably sized for our party of 4 adults and 2 kids. The negatives-definitely needs to be deep cleaned (several dirty dishes, some very visible dusty areas, we pushed cushions back on to the couch and a hairbrush fell out). Almost all of the bathroom drains were VERY slow, there was open food in the cabinets and fridge, the cord jumble under the living room tv is a mess, the stove had food crusted all over it, many of the hand soap bottles had been filled with water to make them last longer, the shampoo/conditioner/wash in the showers had empty bottles, some of the sheets seemed very old and did not fit the beds well. For what we paid per night, we just expected more.

It was very nice. Thought the patio table too huge on such a small patio. The can opener was broken and noone to notice. Kitchen accessories very messy and disorganized. We were only given one towel bath towel that was the quality of a motel six towel. For a 1,000 a night, expected more,

Fabulous Location but Unit needs deep cleaning
Brockway Springs location is fantastic. We spent time at Granlibakken, North Tahoe Regional Park and North Star for sledding and snow boarding. There were also many restaurants nearby. The unit has a very beautiful view of the lake exactly as the pictures show. The bathrooms were nice esp the master bath which has a rain shower. The reason I'm giving the place 3 stars is because it was listed as No Pets Allowed, however the unit was full of dog hair. The couches, pillow cases in the living room, and bedroom beddings had lots of dog hair that would stick to our clothes. My son and I happen to have dog and cat allergies and had allergic attacks throughout our stay. We had to take claritin and flonase to help manage the sneezing, runny nose, and itchy eyes. We were miserable while inside the unit. The bedroom with twin beds is specifically the worst and it smelled like pets. The only room without dog dander and hair was the master bedroom. Either the owner owns a dog or other guests in the past may have snuck in their pets. Either way, the place needs deep cleaning or change the pillows and beddings and have the carpet deep cleaned. It would have been a perfect stay for us. We were hoping to make this both a winter and summer place to stay because of the lakeview and location, but unless this is addressed, we won't book again.

We had a sibling getaway here. The property location is breath taking, the unit itself has issues.
Premier host might consider reevaluating the property and fixing what they advertise and clean the units they advertise as prime. The unit definitely had many issues for such a "prime" place.

Property was perfect! Great kitchen, renovated bathrooms, and a deck ten feet from the lake! We had some fantastic sunsets on the deck. The condo was spacious with the four bedrooms and a loft. One item to note was there is no bathtub in the unit, might have listed it in the description but not a big deal. Our 2 and 4 year olds got showers in lieu of the usual baths. Master bath has dual shower heads and plenty of space. Bring your paddleboard and kayak as your just steps to the lake. BBQ on the deck is electric, probably rules of the HOA as most had the same one.

Beautiful place!
We enjoyed very much staying at this beautiful place! Location can’t be beat! Walking distance to the beach and restaurants! Yet it is quiet (no traffic noises). Love this modern house, great lighting, zone-specific thermostats, Beautiful bathrooms (the heated master bathroom floor is really nice!). The view is unbelievable! Loved all of it! Will definitely visit again!
