The outside and gardens of the property were well maintained and very pleasant.Two of the rooms we booked were standard and one was superior.Nicholas Philander made our stay.What a great guy and incredibly helpful.Whole group enjoyed our chats.Breakfast was hearty and tasty.great omelettes
The 2 standard rooms we booked were not fit for purpose.Very very small with no room for luggage even on the floor or any hanging space(reception tried to say having 3 hangers next to the bed meant there was hanging space)..The property needs to make clients aware how small these rooms are.The breakfast and reception area is tired and dated in its decor and furnishings.Either knock the 2 small standard rooms into one or advertise that standard rooms are effectively single ..

Die Poolanlage
Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, dafür zu teuer. Alle nett und freundlich, aber Servicegedanke nicht ausgeprägt. Da haben wir günstigere und bessere Hotels kennengelernt.

Je merkt dat het de afgelopen jaren drukker is geworden. De echt swung is er een beetje uit!

It was a beautiful property with a lovely garden and pool. The views were breathtaking. Rooms were neat and clean.
Breakfast was quite good.
The shower was broken and more attention should be given before assigning the room to guests.

this boutique hotel was such a find! great location and staff make you feel very welcomed. they upgraded our room at no charge, we had a lovely big room that overlooked the stunning garden. breakfast was lovely too.

Beautiful and clean place, had everything we need. Loved the eco friendly toiletries, the honesty bar option, and the fact that we could order dinner via phone to a restaurant who delivered our food to the door. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Sadly there was a rain storm so we couldn't make use of the gorgeous pools on the property. They have a small generator so the bedroom lights stayed on during load-shedding.
They do not cater for halaal, Vegetarian or Vegan....well there are few things you could eat like fruits and breads but that's about it.

They didn't inform us about loadshedding at 10PM.

The staff were lovely, the grounds amazing, the room fine.
There should be more mosquito screens mounted to allow for air to flow in hot nights.

The breakfast was simple but lovely with a good variety of pastries everyday. They have a beautiful and lush garden where kids can run around and play. The views from our room was amazing. They have 2 pools which was very convenient. The location of the property is very central, close to Stellenbosch city centre and not too far from the airport. The best thing for us was that there were no cats on the property, this made our stay extra pleasant as my wife has a cat phobia.

Exceptional accommodation with luxurious and extremely spacious room. Clean facilities, rooms are tastefully decorated with sound system. There are two pools in the beautiful garden within breathtaking scenery. The breakfast was tasty and a self-service bar is available. Parking is available directly on the property without extra charges. Friendly and helpful staff that is happy to organize and book trips.
Food and drink options are not very close by.

It is an exceptionally beautiful setting.
There were no generators so during loadshedding not only did we not have electricity, there was no hot water. We did not have a kettle or hairdryer. The foot of one one of the chairs was broken and so was the lid of the toilet. The staff was very sweet and apologetic for the inconvenience. We don’t blame them for these problems as the manager/owner should ensure that things are in order.

It was a tremendous time. We loved the room, the great scenery, the outside area and especially the service which was so kind and welcoming to us.
