It's central and it's lovely not interacting with anyone. The terrace upstairs is very nice! The bed was comfy and the room was modern. The air conditioner did a great job.

The shared bathroom wasn't really our cup of tea. It was clean and all, but I guess we just feel more comfortable with our own bathroom. If you're fine with a shared bath, please don't mind this.

The no-reception system is very smooth. Entering the place itself and the room works flawless. Good location and a lot of things nearby. The owners are easy to reach through WhatsApp. However...

When I arrived there were quite some long black hairs spread over my room. Also small hairs still in my bed/sheets. All of this was fine in the end... But the noise is something else... This is something the owners can't do anything about, but there was a couple with a young child in the room next to me (room 4) that kept crying and the sound went straight through the walls. People that stayed in room 2 (ground floor) sounded like they were standing in my room due to the thin glass at the head of the bed. Although the owners can't be held accountable of how loud people are in the building, I do feel like soundproof doors and double glass might solve this sole issue in a minute.

Center location with really nice cafe around the corner. Also self checkin was easy and practical.

no working internet properly, so the TV smart was useless (not connected to it). Even the normal TV channels were not working. Thin walls, which ment noise from neighbours, sounds of flushing toilets from upstairs. Hangers in bathroom were falling from the wall. Shower holder was also not working properly.

The location was really good.

It was not very clean. There was a lot of hair from the previous guests on the bedsheets. Furthermore, there was no shampoo and shower gel left in the bathroom. Fortunately, we brought our own stuff. Also what you have to consider is that there are no kitchen utensils like spoons, forks, plates, scissors etc. So you have to consider that you cannot really measure the sugar with a spoon if you want to put some in your coffee. There was a small tea room at the rooftop, but the light did not work so we could not stay there to enjoy our coffee when the sun goes down. Another thing that you have to consider is that if you have the shared bathroom with another room, you have to go up and down some stairs to get to the bathroom since it is not on the same level as the actual rooms.

The beautiful sun terrace on the top floor with espresso and coffee facilities aswel as an outdoor bath tub ! Comfortable bed , very easy check in and check out.

There is no reception - everything is dealt with via online communication (code to get into the property and the room etc.). This means complete flexibility concerning arrival and departure time, no waiting to check in / check out (but you should preferably have a smartphone with mobile data in case you have any issues). The rooftop terrace is small/simple but nice; there is a microwave and a coffee maker including coffee capsules / tea bags. - I had the room without window but in fact the room has a (non-opening) big window in the ceiling so there is actually quite a bit of daylight in the room (better than expected!); there is no external light source so this doesn't bother at night. The best about the hotel is the location, right in the historical part of the city, 10min walk from the bus terminal and 2min from the tram stop for La Laguna. Wifi in the room was excellent.

I had the room without window, which smelled a bit musky until I switched on the aircon (then it was fine). One issue I encountered with the aircon was that it didn't switch off automatically even when I raised the temperature to 24 degrees (but maybe I just didn't manage to figure out how to set this properly). So at night it was finally a bit cold until I switched off the aircon completely. Another issue was that on the rooftop terrace, there was no or only a very week Wifi signal. There are no plates and no fridge in the mini kitchen on the rooftop, only a few cups, but this was clear from the description so I could take it into account when shopping.

The room, the comfort of the bed, the shutters on windows, aircon, the service, the shared bathroom was lovely especially with the free shower gel and shampoo. All in all a great deal for the price and I'd definitely recommend staying.

A minor critisism: lack of inner door knob for the main red door makes it difficult to open the door from the inside. A major critisism: every hour or so a very loud buzzing noise can be heard for about 10 seconds in room 6 which often woke us up and is very annoying - please fix this!

Clean, comfortable, well-located, and sufficient amenities for one night in Santa Cruz!

Walls were thin and opening the lock was a bit tricky at first like others mentioned, as well as iffy hot water, but not a big deal. Overall a good night's sleep for decent value!

Central location, all that was needed was there (toiletries, towel, hairdryer).

Cleaning could have been a little better. Besides that it was very loud in the building, you could hear everything.

Very uncomplicated check in and check out due to online process in advance. I liked it very much. But if you need any advice from people at the location you need to know that there is no reception.

Fair location & technology

No sound isolation at all! we were not able to sleep one night as the locks (which were ok to enter the room, but take like 1- 2 mins for opening ur room..) we’re making terrible noise and u could hear people arriving and leaving… once someone trying to get in to our room was also scary…. and yes I can understand the staffless kind of things but if on time a guest request to print a boarding card I guess it could be manageable (knowing that low costs are warning u the airport is not accepting mobile tickets) should be manageable. if there is rain do not count on any rooftop… they close it saying maintenance is ongoing. Maybe I should have check the small letters but no cleaning either for long stayers. all in all nice but not for sleeping (and we were there to sleep during nights!)
