Beautiful, new house on Lake Guntersville!
Naviga, pesca, scia o non fare altro che rilassarti sull'ampio ponte di "The Cottage" con vista sul lago Guntersville. Il cottage si trova a North Alabama Sailing Marina ed è nuovo in tutta la casa con due camere da letto due bagni 1200 piedi quadrati. We had a great time. The property was conveniently located with lake access. We were able to take our boat with us and have some time with our grandchildren.

Went to Rock the South so had about a 50 minute drive but very nice place. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

My brothers and I hadn't seen each other in years, so we booked this cabin to spend a couple days away from spouses, children, etc. We had a great time catching up and this cabin was the perfect place. The cabin hosts (Susan and T) were very kind and very responsive when we reached out with a question/minor issue. I would definitely rent this cabin again in a heartbeat!

We loved our stay ! We truly loved your home! We came in to visit with family and enjoy the fire works for the 4th of July! We had the best spot to view the fireworks ! Thank yall for allowing us to stay in your home ! We will love to stay again when we coming back to town !

We have rented this house twice. We enjoy the decks with the view of the lakes. We come to town to race our hydroplanes and enjoy having a place to relax

This our second time visiting the area and our second stay at Susan and Thurson property. The property just like the other is awesome. Very welcoming, clean, well stocked and comfortable. Susan and Thurson are outstanding hosts! We can’t wait to return.

Wonderful little lake house located in a ver convenient location. 5 minutes to 2 boat ramps down river or just a quick 15 minute drive to waterfront. Less than 10 minutes to City Harbor. Clean, plenty of space, and located right in the water. We will be back!

Property was great for our weekend fishing trip. View of the sailboats from inside the house was picturesque. Distance to food and entertainment was very close. If you have a larger boat you may want to use the boat ramp across the highway from the property rather than the ramp at the property. Great location and very comfortable play to stay for a weekend getaway.

We had an absolutely wonderful time! The views of the sunrise and sunset from the cottage were beautiful! Waking distance to a local dinner spot which was very good food! Boat ramp was also very close and easy access! Cottage was extremely clean and the beds were comfortable! Communication with Susan and T was excellent!!!!! We will be visiting again that’s for sure!

This is our second stay at The Cottage. We were there the entire week of Thanksgiving and loved it just as much, if not more, than we did the first time we stayed there. The bed is so comfy, the kitchen is well equipped, and the bathrooms are great.
The kitchen had everything I needed to make our Thanksgiving dinner. My husband is a fisherman, so it is also very convenient to have a washer and dryer. One of my favorite things to do is sit on the deck and watch the birds and gaze at the water. This time there were also Christmas lights on several of the sailboats and it was beautiful at night. We will definitely be going back to our “home away from home”.

Great location. Loved the fireplace and layout of the house! Everything needed was available. Appliances, fixtures, most furniture and linens were clean. Beds were clean and comfy! Floor was very dirty and bench at foot of bed was stained and dirty. House seemed to be newly renovated.
Chose this house to be able to launch boat once and slip it; however that wasn’t possible due to water level, holes in boat ramp (as advised by man at Marina) and so much grass in the slip and route there. We launched at state ramp across the highway and there was another state launch available across the bridge - only minor inconvenience since we were there only a couple of days but paid premium price to do so.
Additionally, we were charged a cleaning fee. Because we paid this fee I was surprised to be asked to strip all the beds and start load of laundry at the time of departure. We did as were asked but just didn’t feel appropriate after paying cleaning fee for a small place.
Would recommend owner take a look at a couple of things we noticed: soft spot in bottom of bathtub in master bath and no hot water at kitchen faucet. Neither of these impacted our stay and weren’t reported while we were on property. I’m sure the owner will take a look upon report here.

We enjoyed our second stay at this charming cottage. The location is very convenient. Sunrises were amazing during our stay, beautiful view without stepping outside. Furnished with anything you need. We do plan to return.

Cute cottage located in the sailboat marina. Very clean,& properly stocked. Right on the lake. Boat ramp access & slip for boat. The hosts were very responsive & went out of their way to make us comfortable. We enjoyed our week at the cottage. The decor is what is pictures and we had no issues with the cottage. Located near a couple restaurants & stores that were in walking distance.

For 2nd year in row everything was perfect for our stay for the frog tourney. Location and Cleanliness is the reason for staying again this year. Will be looking forward to next year again.

Was as described and very clean. Host was very nice and answered any questions. Wish there was a better place to dock my boat but this was at a sailing marina. Everything else was fantastic. Also close to a restaurant we could walk to as well

Property is very well maintained and nicely located. Very quiet and easy access. Was a great place to unwind from a tough week and also get a little remote work done. Nice area with good restaurants and amenities. Not too far from Huntsville so got to see the new Mission Impossible! Excellent hosts!

This is a beautiful cottage. The bed is so comfy. The cottage is clean and has everything you need. The kitchen is well-appointed. You’re close to G’ville restaurants and shops. My husband loved being able to put the boat in right by the cottage. We both loved being able to walk to dinner to Fire by the Lake. I would definitely recommend this place and we will be back.

We were in Guntersville for the 90th birthday celebration for my dad and just loved the cottage. Owners were friendly and easy to work with. Most family stayed in a nearby hotel, but we did serve two meals to family at the cottage. Everyone enjoyed the cottage, and I will definitely stay here again in the future!
