Villa Merika is a grand and spacious property set in the midst of Olive and fruit trees. It is well equipped and all of the rooms are spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and the views. Our family had a wonderful time here. The private beach was enjoyed by the adults in our group. We also used the pizza oven which was well supplied with wood. We found the washing machine and drying racks to be very useful. The nearby villages were charming and provided us with several tasty travernas overlooking the water.

Villa is in great location with breathtaking views. Villa itself is far more beautiful than shown in the pictures. Property is huge and extraordinary with all the fruit and olive trees. Hosts were kind enough to greet us and made sure our stay was the one not to forget about. Will definitely come back.

I hate not to give a perfect score as this property exceeded my expectations, as did the hosts. The Value and Location could be a perfect 10, it just depends on what you are looking for in a vacation. If you are relaxing and not doing the tourist thing, this is absolutely a 10 across the board. If you are a tourist and traveling Greece to see the sites, this is a a bit too far out of the way. For us it was still worth it as we hired a private company to pick us up on day trips across Greece. If going, do not hesitate to walk the orchard and pick some fresh fruit and certainly go down to the waterfront for a swim. Even our tour guide/driver said how impressed he was with the place and how as a local, he would like to stay there.

The property could be in Athens ! :) Nothing else really not to like other than the remote location (for tourist).
