Lovely spot Very clean and felt luxurious

Bit of a musty damp smell in the bedroom

This was my second stay and I hope to return again. The surrounding natural environment is so peaceful. We had rabbits visiting us every morning. The lodge (17) was lovely and situated in a great position with a good amount of privacy. Beds are very comfy and the shower was powerful. All the furnishings and appliances are of very good quality.The kitchen contains everything you need. The lodge really is a home from home. The welcome tray is a nice touch (tea, coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits and crisps) and means you don't need to bring too much for your first night. They even provide cleaning/washing up stuff too. There is a big supermarket just down the road and takeaway delivery services serve the lodges. The hot tub is wonderful and it's well worth choosing this option.

Check out time of 10am is a bit early for my liking - 11 would be preferable. WiFi was fine for phones but the iPlayer didn't work well and we had to give up watching.

Excellent lodge very clean and the staff were very friendly and welcoming with good communication would definitely visit again. Loved that we had a little welcome pack also 😊

The sink was blocked once but repaired quite quick.

Overall it was such a lovely stay in the lodge as our first trip with a newborn. It was so nice to be away in the fresh air surrounded by nature. The location was nice and close to Winchester and other local attractions which was great for days out. We loved the hot tub facility that was very clean (although heavy with chemicals so much so that it bleached our swimming costumes!). The lodge was clean and spacious and there was enough space for all our baby’s stuff! The multimedia TV experience was brilliant too. Would definitely return! The hosts were great and very responsive to our needs.

The units were less secluded that we anticipated - you often get views of the neighbours and them of you in all rooms/the patio which is a little unnerving. When we arrived we noticed some dirty mugs that were packed in the cupboard. To be picky, there was also no hand soap provided in the kitchen, and very few bin bags which was tricky with baby nappies. We actually went to buy handsoap and bin bags during our stay. The bins in the kitchen were so small and the guests are asked to throw the rubbish out in the main bins (a walk from the lodge) on check out. One toilet didn’t flush well which was less than ideal and we didn’t love the one ply toilet paper. However these were minor things and we still had a lovely stay!

The hot tub and cleanliness of the space. The lodge was well decorated, spacious and comfortable. The furniture and beds were new and well looked after.

Great location. Lots to do. Beautiful lodge. Can't wait to cone again
