Ottimo piccolo affitto storico situato in posizione centrale nel "Gem of the Catskills", Windham, NY. Per famiglie o una piccola fuga per 2. Ottimo posto da utilizzare come base per le vostre avventure di montagna!
Nascosto nel corso di un giro del granaio secolo questo affitto di due camere da letto vi riporterà in un tempo e posto più semplici. Una comoda regina e un letto singolo soddisfano le tue esigenze. We came back for our second time. We love it! We love the chickens, we named one Elvis / Fancy Pants. The fresh eggs were great, the gift in the fridge was unexpected, thank you.
We look forward to the next visit.

Cute, cozy, and spacious. We enjoyed relaxing in the family room/game room at night. The host thought of every amenity possible and there was no shortage of anything needed for our stay. The town is quiet and we didn't hear any cars going by. Perfect location for hiking as there were a number of different trail heads nearby. Loved seeing the chickens every day and the host kindly gave us fresh eggs! Would definitely come back.

Place is adorable and very comfortable had everything you might need during you stay. Wish Roku worked right. Probably need to wash the shower curtains with bleach. Other than the tv, shower curtain and husband hitting his head every time he walked out the door (he's 6ft) we loved it

We loved our stay at Cynthia's so much that we extended it. The place is so cozy and comfortable. Everything we needed was there plus some very thoughtful extras. The vintage farmhouse decor is so sweet and homey and our dog loved meeting the chickens who inspired it as well.Cynthia's hospitality and communication were exceptional and we enjoyed a very relaxing time away. Cynthia is so nice, we felt like we were staying with family. Can't wait to go back!

We enjoyed our short stay, the property is old (as in historic) with a few loose handles and drippy taps but it had a calm and homely vibe. There's enough indoor space so you shouldn't get cabin fever if the weather is bad. Its close to the windham high peak trails so perfect base for that. 7 minute drive to the worlds most expensive groceries in windham if you havent brought your own food. Decent coffee available at higher grounds 5 mins away

The property was clean, homey, fully equipted with just the right amount of eccentricity. Lovely garden which was made available to us - as was Cynthia and her son. great stay and I hope we'll see them again next year!

Cynthia is terrific
Cynthia was a wonderful host. Everything was clean and comfortable, with lots of thoughtful extras, like pillows, blankets, nice things for the kitchen. She was very easy to reach and immediately responded to little things we needed. The dozen fresh eggs from the chickens were an extra treat. Highly recommended.

Excellent location, cozy guest home
Cynthia was a great host who answered my questions very quickly! This is just around 15 minutes from Windham mountain making it a perfect location for skiing.

When my partner and I arrived at the rental, we were surprised to find Cynthia's house was decorated with several Trump 2020 banners (among other politically charged flags and banners which were impossible to miss). Though we understand that everyone has a right to their views and opinions and to decorate their own private property how they wish, there was no indication of these flags and banners in Cynthia's listing. If we had seen them we would not have booked a stay here.
We were also very disappointed that when we reached out to Cynthia to express our discomfort, we did not get a response (though she did confirm two days later that she had received our message). To our dismay, Cynthia was not willing to have a conversation or address our concerns, even after we followed up with her days later.
Ultimately, we decided that we felt uncomfortable staying here and booked a room at the nearby Albergo Allegria hotel (which was lovely).
We are writing this review in large part because we can imagine we are not the only folks who these prominent political statements may make feel uncomfortable and unwelcome and because we feel that this listing is not completely representative of the actual property.

The living area was a large space, which gave us the ability to really enjoy and play some games. Cynthia missed nothing. Anything I could have needed was stocked in this place. She left some warm touches too. ( Do not want to ruin the surprise ) I really enjoyed staying here and I would definitely come back again.

Cynthia was a wonderful host. So many little details that made our stay so comfortable and pleasant. We arrived to a plate full of Italian cookies on the table, fresh eggs in the fridge. All the condiments we could possibly need. And it was decorated so nice. Will definitely come back!

Perfect rental for our family!
We had a great time with my husband and 2 sons (2 and 4). Very convenient location, close to the slopes. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful.

Wonderful Cottage - Country Charm & Easy Access to Restaurants
We had a wonderful weekend at this charming getaway. The rooms and on-site amenities were charming, clean, and very comfortable. Both nights we opted to eat locally (across the street & down the block) - both were awesome choices and a surprising treat - excellent food and service at both places. Cynthia was a wonderful hostess and made us feel very comfortable with lots of starter items in the pantry. We really enjoyed the nearby chicken coop - all the charm of a farm without having to do any work (no smell whatsoever). We look forward to visiting again in the future.

We had a great stay in this guesthouse in Windham. Our host was extremely friendly and accommodating. I'd absolutely stay here again.
