Comfortable 2 bedroom apartment - we spent 2 nights and everything was fine. Short walk to town centre. We used it as a base for a visit to Dresden which is easily accessed via an excelent train service. Host was most helpfull when we had a slight emergency

We really enjoyed our stay and would have liked a couple of more days. Friendly owners and staff. Pet friendly, Nice rooms with a huge shower and bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic. Fresh, tasty, and plenty of choice.

It was a bit difficult to find the owner or staff when we arrived. I found someone after a couple of minutes, so not really a big deal.

Quiet location, but very easy walk to the square and restaurants/supermarket. We came to Pirna to begin the Malerweg hike, and it was an easy 20 min walk to the bus stop Cozy and clean room Friendly staff, despite the language difference (we do not speak German)

Breakfast price was 14€, which was pretty high compared to what we saw at other guesthouses

Breakfast was excellent, nice variety - fruits, eggs, yogurt, coffee, tea, great bread. The walk into the old town was easy, maybe 10 or 15 minutes, and the town of Pirna seemed very safe, even at night walking to a restaurant for take-out. The train station had regular trains running into Dresden and down to other stations on the Elbe. Likewise, the bus service was regular and timely.

When we arrived there was no one on the property, no one replied when we knocked, and no one in evidence to ask. Eventually, we got into the property through a back gate and left our bags inside the apartment building. After about 20 minutes, the owners arrived back in their car, and greeted us. (It is possible that one of them had been at the hospital, because the leg or arm was in a cast.) There was a private party in the restaurant part of the establishment, and this went on quite late. Otherwise, the restaurant itself was not open, a fact we did not realize when reading the description on the apartment.

Loved our stay! At the end of a strenuous hike, arriving way past the agreed time (22 o'clock in the rain). Very polite phone conversations, very flexible, the lady was waiting for us in the street so that we wouldn't get even more lost. Exceptional hostess! Spacious room, felt deluxe to us. A hearty breakfast with a personal touch the next morning made that the perfect stay. Would 100% recommend !

Not sure what surprised me the most, the fact that this property is still listed or the unrealistic ratings it has received. The pictures do not fairly represent the property in it's current state. Upon arrival at the agreed time we were met with a locked gate and a buzzer which nobody answered. We called the property multiple times and nobody answered. We messaged the property - no answer. After going around the back of the property and talking with people in the vicinity we found a back door and found the host. The rear entrance into the establishment is not very inviting. When leaving we met other frustrated guests in the car park, who were also told to deliver the keys to the host before leaving, but the host was not around & the place was locked up. All the signage is for "Waldpark" not the advertised property. The property advertises WiFi but this is not available. The uploaded pictures show the locked front entrance and rear entrance.

the staff was very nice and welcoming. the apartment was big and comfortable. the kitchen was perfectly equipped with all the small things you need to cook your own meals. the garden was lovely and the children could play peacefully. the town is very beautiful and lively.

for us it was all just perfect.
