The host is very helpful and let me do a late checkout as well as taking a shower without any problem. And you can have your own room for a very little price
Overall, the place isn't very clean. At night, it also doesn't feel so safe to walk around.

Bed comfy and enough blankets
-location is not good far from centre or miraflores
- the guy of the reception is never there.. you have to be lucky to find him so you can get in.. We have been waiting for like 20min before the "receptionist" comes to let us in.. and he's not welcoming at all
- the place is.. dirty (especially the kitchen) and the bathroom horrible.. (obviously hot water doesn't exist)
- very poor isolation
I'm sorry to write that but I don't understand how can this "hostel" have so many goods reviews..

Great localization - close to the ocean, city center and it is quite there.

The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. The owner always responded when we needed help.
When we arrived there was no one to welcome us and which room we had. There was an old gentleman who spoke no english and didn’t try to understand our poor spanish.
The bathroom & kitchen were dirty as the other people staying didn’t clean up after themselves.
All in all, it felt like a university accommodation. As long as you go with that mindset, it’s good value for money.

The bed was very comfortable, high ceilings, room was dark and the host had very good communication and is very friendly.
The house was dirty and the kitchen was absolutely disgusting. Mold on plates disgusting. The toilets and shower are a bit uncomfortable because of a low wall between them.

The prices are very low and you get what you pay for. It’s not very big so you’re not sharing with dozens of people.
Me and three other people got robbed while staying there. There is absolutely no security in place (no security cameras, no permanently manned reception) and apparently thief has access to key copies, as the doors were double locked and not forced into. The building is quite run down and very dirty at times. Pay a little more and go somewhere safer.
