The floor was a bit "noisy"!

Rita the host was exceptional! She was the most helpful, and kind of any host we have ever had. She helped us with restaurants, directions ... anything we asked she answered immediately. You are staying at their home, with their lovely pool and view. We stayed in the 1 bedroom which didn't have a view and is a bit dark but is lovely. We were able to see the studio which does have a lovely view and is a bit bigger. The house is an easy walking distance to the center of town and the beaches. We loved Vila Nova de Milftontes and would definitely return and stay at Rita's. Thank you, Rita!!!

We had the studio apartment for a week which was wonderfully light and airy with a spacious and private terrace. The studio had everything we could wish for and it was very peaceful. The location overlooking the river, with a pool, was first class and just a short walk from the town. Martin and Rita were delightful hosts and we’d happily return if they’d have us!

Really nice apartment, very friendly hosts and a beautiful property and garden. Close enough to town, in a quiet residential area with stunning views. Enough privacy.

We had the apartment, which is perfectly lovely but the studio upstairs has better views of the river - we knew that going in though :) The drains in the bathroom were a bit smelly.

Wonderful hosts in a wonderful location.

There was nothing to complain about. Possibly the best place we have stayed!

The studio and balcony were perfect. The studio had everything you could want for a holiday stay.

There appeared to be limited hot water on occasions!

The apartment was amazing and the view is incredible. It has everything to make you feel comfortable and at home.

The host was very nice and caring, she offered us a lot of info about the place, reserved a dinner table for us for Christmas evening and even helped us with take away on the 24th of December. I was really happy I could start working immediately on the 24th at 11.00, when we arrived. There were some small tips and tricks about the apartment that we were supposed to know (like the way the patio door needs to be locked in a special way, we slept one night with it open), but the host was not able to offer as I needed to start operating my computer right away and I made a bit of confusion.

The apartment was nice, although we were looking for the studio that has a great view. Unfortunately on booking.com you are not able to understand very well wether you are choosing the apartment or the studio. Although the hosts have started the floor heating system early in the morning, at 11 when we arrived it was still very cold. We asked for a portable heater in order to be able to stay in the apartment. There is no tv, would be nice to have a TV especially in the winter when you can stay out only until maximum 17.30 - 18.00. Internet worked fine only on the 24th of December, i was not able to work on the 25th probably due to the heavy traffic on Christmas day. Also on the next day the connection was not one of the best.
