Nothing, everything was great

Very friendly and nice host. He told us a lot of useful things about neighbourhood, Mirissa and transfer to Colombo. He also keep our rooms clean. And his wife made a good breakfasts for us at very early time we ask – 5/6/7 am. Villa itself very nice, clean and big. We had a swimming pool, though didn't use it. Price is very good for a given quality.

Location is specific. You need a 25min long ride on bus to Mirissa beach. However, you should definitely try those crazy buses at least once, trust me. Also, not much of an activities near the villa. Lake is good but it's basically useless. Nearest beach is rocky. However, there were great restaurants and cafe near (15 min walk) the villa that provided a good dinners for us. One of the rooms on 2nd floor was significantly smaller than the other – which is a little bit unexpected.

Мы бронировали виллу на 5 дней и потом еще продлили на 2, так как нам очень понравилось здесь жить. Все было замечательно. В номере чисто, кровати новые, матрасы и постельное тоже новое. Душ один из лучших что мы видели на Шри-Ланке: тропический с теплой водой и на лейке с горячей, можно выбирать, очень удобно. Санузел к каждой комнате. Район тихий, спокойный, в то же время близко к основной дороге. Удобно добираться и до Матары и до Мириссы. Цены дешевле, чем в Мириссе. Рядом есть 2 больших супермаркета. Отличный интернет, проведено оптоволокно, скорость у нас показывал около 20 Mbps. Идеально для тех, кто работает на удаленке. Кухня отличная, есть все для самостоятельного приготовления. Мы были с детьми, для нас это очень важно. Чистый и неглубокий бассейн, дети из него не вылазили, до и после моря игрались в нем. Пляжи рядом: Мирисса, Велигама, Мадиха, Полена. Можно ходить на пляж пешком. Хозяева Чамила и Шаника просто покорили своей щепетильностью и гостеприимством. Помогли, когда у нас пробило колесо. Спасибо за теплый прием и доброе отношение к нашим детям! Очень рекомендую для остановки в Мириссе!

Все понравилось!

Были вчетвером в январе 2024. Вилла чистая, все работает, есть горячая вода, 2 санузла. Для 4х людей вполне достаточно места. Самый большой плюс виллы - это владельцы. Они очень гостеприимные, помогут с любым вопросом. При этом хорошо знают английский, что облегчает общение. А ещё есть милый маленький бассейн! Мы специально искали тихую виллу не у океана и с бассейном, чтобы отметить мой день рождения - получилось здорово. Он чистый и красивый.

Все было хорошо, но напишу несколько поинтов, которые могут быть важны для других. 1. Хозяин виллы с семьёй живут на 1ом этаже, то есть вы не будете находиться совсем в приватной обстановке. 2. Жилье на 3м этаже, подниматься нужно по ступенькам 3. Жилье в тихом месте, рядом в 800м метрах есть магазин и вайн стор, но до мириссы или полхены надо ехать на чем-то. Поэтому если вы с детьми и без байка готовитесь к автобусам/тук-тукам

Maison très calme et propre. Hôtes très gentils et serviables.

The apartment was perfect for a family of four. We had lots of space to spread out which is great after sharing a room for a week in other hotels. The pool was great for us, especially the kids who want to cool down easily. The owner was very helpful and organised our whale watching trip. We saw a blue whale which is a holiday highlight.

No negatives.

So homely. Guests made us feel so welcome and the fresh home grown mango was delicious!

Chamila and Shannuka were so friendly and caring and they welcomed us like family. The apartment was spacious and incredibly clean with big comfy beds, great bathrooms and all the necessary amenities and facilities (great aircon, a toastie maker, hob etc) The wifi was reliable, fast and worked through the powercuts which was great for my partner who was working remotely. The location was brilliant, near lots of beaches and local places to explore and eat. We visited the closest beaches and loved being close to Weligama still too. They provided us with perfect recommendations for trips and places to see and also took us to the airport on our last day. They made us and our children feel safe and well looked after and our children often disappeared to play with them! We thoroughly enjoyed the cooking experiences which they provided, showing us how to make dahl curry and coconut roti. We loved eating the mangos from the mango tree in their garden and listening to peacocks early in the morning. Chamila and Shannuka also cooked for us most nights and the food was amazing!! If you have a chance - please make sure you experience their cooking. By the end of our stay we felt like they were our family. The couple go above and beyond, they are the most exceptional hosts. We cannot wait to return to this beautiful couple and their home.

There was nothing - it was a home from home, absolute perfection.
