Absolutely wonderful. Don’t miss it!
My husband and I travel a lot both for work and pleasure, so it’s a high barre when I say this is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. The Chateau was built in 1733, and the newly renovated property combines exquisite historical details with every modern convenience you can imagine. The rooms are lovely and spacious, and the bed was heaven. We had a giant bathtub, which I loved, and a walk-in shower, which my husband loved. Huge windows looked out at the French countryside and meticulously landscaped property. The owners have thought of everything, from a place to lock up bikes, a free laundry area, a pool, spa, massage, walking paths, farm animals, and an exceptionally delicious restaurant and bar onsite. You really never need to leave, but if you want to explore Normandy (and you should) the jewel of a town of Bayeux is an easy bike ride away and a great launch for tours of the D Day landings, the famous Bayeux tapestry and excursions to Mont St Michelle. And of course, cider, cheese and all things Normandie. We extended our stay because we loved it so much, and cannot wait to return. Really, don’t miss this.

Cadre exceptionnel du château et du parc au cœur d'un petit village.
Beaucoup d'activités internes au parc (bain bouillonnant, sauna, piscine, animaux, ping pong, parcours de santé...). Egalement possibilité de louer un vélo ou d'aller courir dans la campagne environnante.
Bon restaurant.
Personnel au top.
Proximité de Bayeux et des sites du débarquement.

We liked the beautiful Chateau itself and the whole entire property. We loved walking about the property and seeing farm animals. We also appreciated the solitude of the property, and the nice breakfast each morning. It was clean, the staff was friendly and we would definitely stay again. Highly recommended this lovely place!

Mooie uitvalsbasis om Bayeux en de (D-Day) stranden van Normandie te bezoeken. Superior kamer was zeer comfortabel met ruime badkamer en lekkere douche. Zeer breed bed wat geweldig sliep. Personeel was erg vriendelijk en in restaurant heerlijk gegeten. Ook bij het ontbijt was aan alles gedacht. Door storm Ciarán viel de stroom uit, maar het team ving dit super op, improviseerde zowel ontbijt als diner en deed er alles aan om voor hun gasten te zorgen. Kortom deze bestemming is een aanrader!
Er mist alleen een fitness ruimte.

El lugar es precioso. Muy cuidado todo. Remodelado con muy buen gusto. Las habitaciones y el baño son muy espaciosas. La cama y las almohadas muy confortables. Terraza con muebles a la entrada de cada habitación para disfrutar de un lindísimo jardín. Ideal para ir con auto y disfrutar de los alrededores. Muy cerca de todo. El desayuno muy bueno.

Nice building in spacious grounds, including a heated outdoor pool with sauna and hot tub. Barbecue style dinner with tasty food, which really suited many American guests who seem to like the option of 'seconds' and even 'thirds.'
Reasonably close to town but located in quiet countryside
Expensive, but not excessively. No lift as far as I could see, but we were just one floor up, so it wasn't an issue.

This place did not disappoint. Beautiful old château. Amazing grounds. Food was very good. One woman in our party said it was the nicest place she ever stayed at.

Beautiful, clean with lovely appointed grounds and rooms. Definitely feel like you are in the French countryside which most guests would truly appreciate.
The only issue was needing to drive into town rather than being able to walk. As long as you know this and plan for it it is a nonissue.

the location of the chateau is good for the surrounding area and the town. The Chateau it self is absolutely lovely, the building, the gardens every thing about it. The room we had was a good size and had good facilities with an excellent bathroom, tea making section with a sink and cupboard.
Chateau has a restaurant which you have to book or tell them your intending to eat and this was all good local food of a very good standard cooked by the chef.
breakfast was excellent and was a cold and hot spread of a gain local produce and plenty to chose from.
We would defiantly stay here again if we every go back that way.
Owner and worker where most helpful and couldn't have provided a better service.
the only point i could really criticise was a better quality toilet roll in the room, which is petty but all i would recommend.

Its less a hotel than a couples retreat, in the best way possible.
Huge rooms with great facilities, white tablecloth restaurant downstairs. Massive grounds to wander around.
In the evenings we availed ourselves of the sauna facilities followed by a spa (onsite shower first though). Its all outside surrounded by nature and quite private.
Its not just quiet, its peaceful.
The staff are engaging, friendly, spoke great English (making up for our poor French).
Remarkbly good value.
We felt very special , what a great way to finish up our 3 weeks in France.

This is a lovely hotel in a special setting of farm and beauty. The weather was terrible yet, we loved every minute.

We had been traveling through Europe for several weeks mostly staying in very populated cities so this was a welcome departure. We spent two nights in the chateau and didn't want to leave. The rooms were very spacious, the staff was super attentive and the grounds are absolutely amazing. We took evening strolls through the property and stopped to visit the resident cow, donkey and various sheep and chickens. It was a relaxing two days and really helped to breakup the trip. It was also very close to the Bayeax museum as well as Omaha Beach. It's the perfect location as a basecamp if you are planning to spend several days in normandy to explore. Added bonuses were the on sight parking and laundry facilities.
There was nothing I didn't like but keep in mind that like most places in Europe, there aren't any elevators.

If I could give this hotel 6 stars out of 5, I would! It was wonderful. The room (suite) was enormous. It had large windows on all sides overlooking the beautiful estate. The renovations were recent and extremely well done. The bathroom was large, clean, and with fantastic water pressure. Great shower! The staff were welcoming and very helpful. There were massage and spa facilities, so I wished we had stayed longer. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious. The location was stunning, a few kilometres from Bayeux in a tiny village on a country property, that you could walk around. I absolutely loved this hotel and hope that I will be able to visit again.

Laundry room should remain open till 9.30 at least for those who comes back late and needs to use it :)
