Excellent location for exploring the city

The church bells chime through the night, but ear plugs were supplied and helped.

An excellent central location next to the Grote Kerk. So nice to hear the carillon strike though I was a little confused by the half-hour repeat during the night, until I had figured it out. Also a plus to have a good and clearly popular restaurant as part of the facilities.

We needed to leave at 1015 and were a little surprised to learn that breakfast was not served until 1000. However that was solved by the staff bringing a timely pre-ordered breakfast to the room at 0930. The steps are a little steep if one has heavy luggage, but the staff were most helpful in assisting us.

The room is really nice with a great view of the Church. You have a private entrance to your room through a door at the side. The bed was very comfortable and had a good sleep only occasionally being awoken by the chimes from the church (the chimes are really charming and you feel as though you are abroad). Walk in shower is really nice. Great breakfast below in the Restaurant that was very tasty. Good location and within walking distance of the Train Station that is around 15 mins away.
