This house was everything we could have hoped for and more. The beds were so comfortable. The towels were so soft. Cleanest house i have ever stayed in. So convenient to downtown. I cannot wait to stay here again.

This home is located near downtown, remarkably close just a few short blocks. Like pickleball, bring your racket because there are courts within 2 blocks on the same street. Fantastic location. The home has amazing decor, its tops! The house is very spacious but from the exterior it does not give that impression. It's exceptionally clean and neat. This is a property you MUST visit because it's like home, warm and comfortable. The front sitting room/porch provides a relaxing view of the neighborhood. My sister utilized this area every morning to mediate. I can't wait to rebook. My husband is disable, and the stairs did pose a problem getting him in the front, up the steps; we were aware of the (4) steps when I booked. He still wants to return. After getting him inside, the halls were wide enough to accommodate his wheelchair. It would only be better if they added a seat in the master bedroom shower and a ramp for mobility access into the home. I repeat we knew about the steps; they didn't pose a major problem. Plan time to enjoy an evening out back, relaxing in the courtyard. That area is large enough for a nice gathering. The pictures online provide an okay impression of the home but didn't do the home justice. The interior atmosphere of this property cannot be captured by those photos. I can't imagine a cleaner, comfortable, and affordable place to stay in Mount Dora, so we will return.

I cannot say enough about the house! It is absolutely gorgeous, yet it felt like a home. I spent time in every single room, but especially loved the front room. So bright and peaceful. Also, the location was perfect. We walked to the main area of Mt. Dora and even the heat, it wasn't bad at all. The owner was always accessible and very understanding and accommodating. If I could give our stay more stars, I would! ✨✨✨✨

This hidden gem is unassuming from the exterior yet MAGNIFICENT and GORGEOUS on the inside. EVERY detail has been attended to. From the softest, kuxurious bed kinins to the thick soft towels in the bathrooms....this hime away from home is 2 blocks from old town.

I would definitely stay here again. Whatever we needed Paula and John were there to help.

We just loved staying at this Mount Dora historic cottage. It was perfect in every way, a real hidden gem! The cottage is quite deceiving from the outside...it is much bigger than you would think and goes on and on, with lots of sitting rooms, three in total, and even a small office. The bedrooms each have their own bath and are quite private from each other. Our group of two couples found it provided lots of space and privacy. There is even a beautiful sitting area outside with decorative lighting. The location was perfect, a quick walk into town, just a couple of blocks, but in a quiet historic neighborhood. We loved every minute here, the decor is lovely and the beds are very comfortable. Thank you, Paula and John, any questions we had were quickly answered...you have thought of everything. We can't wait to return!

This property is walking distance to downtown Mount Dora. It has been completely remodeled into a beautiful home , keeping the old enhanced with new creative designs throughout. Property Manager is amazing to work with. This is our 2nd stay.

We very much enjoyed the house and our stay in Mount Dora. The house was wonderful - ready, clean, and functional. I would stay there again on a future trip. The location is awesome if you are interested in the town. Shopping and dining are very walkable - about 2 blocks. The area is quiet and we felt very safe. There is a small play ground next door which is great if you have kids - I do but they weren't with me. We were there in early December and the town was equisitly decorated for the holidays. Christmas lights. Super cute! As a whole the house was a much better decision than a hotel. Lots of space, close to town, and very comfortable. I want to specifically call out there linens and towels - extra comfy.

We had a great time at this house! The location is perfect -walk to downtown Mt Dora and the lake and an easy location to find, in general. The beds were VERY comfortable, with dream-like sheets. The kitchen is very well appointed with everything you could need to prepare a meal for any size group. The bathrooms were well appointed, too, including toiletries and plenty of towels. The layout of the house is great - - front and back sitting rooms, lovely outdoor areas, great parking. I recommend, and we hope to come back again!

The house is nicer than it looks online. It was really clean and comfortable and perfect for a parent with teenagers who needed their own spaces.

The house was charming and perfect for our family gathering. The yard was delightful and Paula was responsive to all communication. The location was perfect for a walk into town for dinner and shopping. A very relaxing environment and we highly recommend this house for a stay in Mount Dora!

Perhaps not immediate kerb appeal from the external photo, but don’t let that fool you. It was a fabulous and quirky house, with a sun lounge at both front and rear with light all day. Amazing master bedroom too. Lovely garden to sit in, extremely comfortable lounge, and the kitchen was large and fully equipped with anything you might want. Location perfect for a short walk into the town. Can only recommend it highly.

4 adults stayed here for a long week-end. The house has been incredibly restored. The home is beautiful and certainly decorated by a very talented artist. The home was immaculate. It was stocked with everyone thing someone might need. Large thick towels, shampoos, lotions, paper towels etc. I highly recommend this home if you are staying in Mount Dora. The property manager was helpful and responded timely.

Just finished a wonderful girls weekend at this beautiful home. I appreciated everything about it--Plenty of room for 3-4 adults (or more if you're sharing beds). Just a couple of blocks from Main Street in downtown Mount Dora--we loved it. Comfy beds, comfy furniture. The only thing (but it's super minor--more of a 'heads up' for future guests) is the electrical switches and stovetop are a little finicky. The owner has a printed binder with all the instructions if I had just taken a minute to read! So read the binder and follow the directions for the light switches and you'll be fine. Owner lives very close by which was very comforting to know. Would definitely stay again!

This beautiful home was exactly as described. It only has 2 bedrooms, but had plenty of room to relax and enjoy yourself. Very clean and decorated with great taste.

Spectacular house and property with every amenity. Walking distance of town. Quiet,clean and all the modern conveniences. We stayed to go to the Reminders Extravaganza. Very close to that venue too. We will come back. .

We had a great long weekend in Mount Dora. The house was lovely and located on a very peaceful and friendly street with short walks to shops, great restaurants and the park. It was very clean and well stocked. There were plenty of towels, beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed while we were there. We also enjoyed their beautiful backyard. We felt right at home and wish we could have stayed longer.

We enjoyed staying at this house in downtown Mount Dora. We could walk to any location downtown. There is plenty of off street parking. The kitchen is modern. There are 2 private bedrooms plus a pull out sofa in the back living space. There are 2 large TV's. We loved sitting on the enclosed front porch. The back yard is spacious for downtown with seats for 6 plus 2 Adirondack chairs and 2 round tables. There is plenty of closet space and dresser space for long term renting. The decor is beautiful, especially the ceiling details. There are 2 full bathrooms, one of which has a tub. There are only 2 issues for us: the listing said there was a grill, but there was not. We adjusted our meals accordingly. And the stove was difficult for us to use. That was frustrating. It is digital. Check in was simple. The house was clean. The ceiling fans provided extra comfort. We would like to stay again when we return to the area to visit family.

This was our second stay at this lovely house. It was just as perfect and comfortable as the last time. We always feel like we are in the heart of Mount Dora, but tucked away from the crowds. It's the best location we have found. The communication with the host is always amazing and we can't wait to return. Thank you, Paula and John for another perfect visit!
