Sylvia provides a clean and comfortable getaway with supremely beachy decor. She provides many nice touches in the kitchenette - coffee and tea, home-baked goodies, instant oatmeal, popcorn, etc. My 87 year old father and I were able to easily walk into Coupeville for supper one night, and made an easy supper another night during our 2 night stay. as recommended by Sylvia, the Price Sculpture Forest is not be missed! Thank you Sylvia!

Perfect place for the two of us. Super comfortable bed, great views of Penn Cove, plenty of kitchenette small appliances, dishes, etc. if we wanted to eat in, excellent in-wall heater and a ceiling fan, kept the unit plenty warm on those days that were rainy and chilly, nice deck with a sofa, small tables and come chairs of enjoying the view when it's warmer, 10 minute walk to downtown, tons of places if you want to do some walking. Anything we would change? Not a thing!!

Sylvia's place is exactly what I needed. Easy to find. Sylvia greeted me and gave me her phone number. However, I didn't need a thing! Cookies and muffins were a lovely touch. It was the water view deck that kept me happy and content. Beautiful views of the Bay. Watched a storm come in late in the day. Visited Coupeville (walking distance) Ebby's Landing, Price Sculpture garden, Green bank Farm - all close to her place. Will be back!

Sylvia’s place is light, bright, clean and comfortable. She makes herself available if you need anything, but the unit itself is very private. The view across Penn Cove and of Mt. Baker is spectacular! Coupeville is a great jumping off place for exploring Whidbey and other islands. We spent one day in SanJuan Island and another making full use of a Washington State Parks pass, hiking Deception Pass and Ft. Ebey. We would have loved a couple more days just to lounge and read and enjoy Sylvia’s place.

Sylvia has the perfect set-up in all the ways: she has thought of everything, the view is THE SEA, and your walking distance to all of the delights of Coupeville. We enjoyed our stay so much and truly cannot wait to come back if we can find it available!

Plus, Sylvia's a great host. Left us alone, but was there if we needed anything, Which never happened because she thought of everything that would be needed and had it all there. No problems with any aspect of her place. We'll be going back whenever we have the chance.

We only stayed 2 nights, but the suite was clean and comfortable. I spent a lot of time gazing into the waters of the bay and watching the boats, it was gorgeous! We walked on the beach and hiked in the forest. It was the perfect place to explore Whidbey Island.

We enjoyed our stay so much, a very nice setting and we had everything we needed and then some. The king bed was very comfortable and was made up nicely. We enjoyed the muffins and cookies she had waiting for us.

We really enjoyed our stay at Float on Inn, it was the perfect getaway. Very peaceful and relaxing. The views of the cove out the window were amazing. We appreciated the home baked muffins and cookies. Sylvia was very helpful with things to do on the island and places to eat. At the end of the day the king size bed was very comfy. Highly recommend

We loved our stay in Coupeville. I cannot fault the apartment - which is light, airy and very well equipped with the most amazing views of Penn Cove and Mt Baker. Sylvia is a great host - she provided lots of leaflets and information about local sights and restaurants and even left us some delicious home baked muffins and cookies. We definitely hope to return to this tranquil and beautiful spot.

The view and the tastefully decorated cottage are just the start of a great visit to Whidbey Island. Sylvia is a thoughtful host and has provided lots of special touches in the unit. Additionally, Coupeville, the little town is within walking distance. It's also centrally located on the Island making daytrips to other parts of Whidbey perfect for visiting State Parks, Lighthouse, and other towns Whidbey is noted for!

We absolutely loved staying here! The space is filled with light and the view is spectacular! So many nice touches throughout from sightseeing brochures to lamps in the bedroom with USB plug-in. Sylvia greeted us upon arrival and gave excellent recommendations for places to eat. (We loved Gordon’s!) The location was so convenient to places we wanted to visit and a short walk to the little town. Would absolutely stay here again!

We had a lovely stay here at the Float On Inn. Beautiful views, comfortable bed and living area. Host has provided lots of thoughtful conveniences that makes the stay easy and pleasant. One of our best VRBO experiences ever!

Great views!
First I'll tell you about what we loved; the comfy King sized bed, the comfortable couch which was good to sleep on, the view, nice big wide windows, where 2 could be opened, the heat was easy to turn up or down, there are lots of nice games to play, she has a Keurig machine with free cups, she has real silverware and not just plastic, nice small fridge, quiet neighborhood, blackberry bushes across the street, very close to town but not noisy at all, beautiful and cute beach decorations in each room, shower is great, even has a seat built in, and she gives you free soap, shampoo and conditioner! Almost everything was perfect.
What we didn't care for: has a fairly steep set of stairs to get up to it but porch and entry were on the side of her home-which was nice, there was no railing on the stairs on the outside front stairs (only 3 stairs), deck had some water on it-not a lot but made slight minimal pool there, deck didn't cover the whole front of the part you rent, which I thought it might've, but still nice deck, tv sound seemed to be needed to be turned up very loudly to even hear it, but when using Netflix/roku, etc, the sound was fine, so maybe there's an adjustment that needs to be made there. Price seemed higher than what I think it's worth for a one night stay, but still a lovely place to stay and host is super nice!!!

Absolutely Beautiful View
We only stayed one night, but we loved being there. What a wonderful view to gaze out on! There is no kitchen, so you have to make do with a mini-fridge and a micro-wave, but we ate out at a local restaurant and had food in a cooler as well.
