Location: ideal place to discover the region. Hotel close by restaurants and bars.

Noise from traffic and late night revellers. Try to reserve room at the back and higher up. Room rather hot.

The hotel is in a very central location, short walking distance to the lake. The rooms not facing the street are quiet, and there is a parking space for guests available. The staff reserved us a spot at a restaurant when asked.

The bathrooms do not have an active ventilation system, there is a hole in the ceiling but no machine behind it to actively refresh the air. Essentially, this meant we had to always open the bathroom door and the window (and leave the room) for ventilation. In May this unpleasant workaround may work, but I can't imagine how it will be in the winter. This, combined with the rather thin walls that carry sound, is not very conductive to comfort. There is no fridge in the room, also no air-conditioning. No elevators, and when we as 2 girls checked in we had to carry our luggage ourselves. We were there for 2 nights and were given a room facing the street and asked to be moved to a quiet one instead. Although the hotel seemed not at all full, we were told there is no option to do this the first night, so we were switched the second. The room we got was of an inferior category to the one we booked though.

breakfast was too expensive for what we got served! seats ontheven terras of the bar where dirty. you could hear the people in the room above yours running and walking like there where elephants in the room…
