Staffs of the hotel were so kind and helpful so i could stay pleasantly with their assistance. Especially, Mia is one of my best hotel staff in my life who is so kind and is able to provide mindful great customer service.

Magnificent view of the Yangtze River (Changjiang) from my room, which was part of my lovely memory of the city of Wuhan. The room was spacious and cozy. Staff was very hospitable and caring. The river bank park is just next to the hotel, which is definitely worth a visit for the many aspects of local life and river view.

Need a bit of walk to / from subway, but it didn't matter as taxi fare was cheap.

There was no ATM which for international travelers was a big issue. Knowing that Covid put a big strain on expenses I hope they can address the cleanliness of the rooms. To be a 5 star rugs should be replaced with tile. The furniture should be cleaned to remove stains. The carpet and chairs in our room had many ugly stains which is something I wouldn’t expect for 5 star.

Breakfast is normal, could be better, the choice is ok, could be made with more love. Breakfast close too fast, sometime the people come at 10:00 and could not have breakfast. It is possible to have tolerate time at the other hotels.

The location is outstanding along the Yangtze river, in the old British/French/Russian concessions of Wuhan. There is a nice pedestrian area nearby, with a lot of cafes and small shops. From the hotel it is easy to travel by taxi to the main attractions. If possible, pick a room with a view on the river side, the night light show is fantastic. The breakfast is really offering a lot of choice, for all tastes.

The swimming pool was still closed... Sorry but the COVID-19 restrictions are gone, this needs to be corrected promptly. The decoration of the room starts to be old fashioned. A refresh would be necessary.
