Visited Kennebunk with immediate family and in-laws. House was great with ample space / room for everyone, and location was ideal for beach access. Also very close to town, roughly 1 mile to get to shops & restaurants.

The owner, Brian, was very polite and fast to reply. The house is very nice and the location is perfect. We enjoyed the beach and all the shops and restaurants in Kennebunkport. I rated the cleanliness of the house low and talked to Brian about this problem. He informed me that he was also very disappointed with his current cleaning service and was getting a new service as of the next week. I hope the new service pays more attention to this beautiful house. The one inaccuracy of the property description was the whirlpool tub. The tub is in the third floor bathroom and it is extremely small. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our 50th wedding anniversary family vacation in Kennebunk!

This house met or exceeded all of our expectations! Plenty of room for a group of nine adults. The porch is awesome. While we were a bit concerned about being close to a road, it was never an issue. We came to think about it as a source of free entertainment, especially the parallel parking attempts. We wondered how much beach was left after the storm. At high tide, maybe 20 yards. At low tide, quite a lot, more than 100 yards. It was also nice to be so close to town, just a bit more than a mile. And there are sidewalks all the way to town, so it is easily walkable.

Our weeklong stay at the house couldn’t have been better. The location is fantastic and the amenities were great. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and convenient location. We will definitely consider booking the house again in the future.

We stayed over the holidays while joining family in the area to celebrate Christmas. The house is open, inviting, and stocked with all the essentials for a lovely stay and even for hosting others. In fact, we chose to have a few meals here as opposed to local family’s home given how spacious and well equipped the kitchen and dining options are! Obviously the beachfront location is a huge draw also! Would definitely recommend for any occasion and I hope to be able to enjoy the hosts’ home again!

We throughly enjoyed our stay in Kennebunk/Gooch Beach. We walked daily on the beach and the family that are unable to walk down to the beach enjoyed watching the beach from the massive well equipped front porch. The home has all the amenities imaginable. We had an incredible time there! Thank you for sharing your lovely home

A handful of family members converged from NY and TX as we’ve done the last 10 yrs the first week of October along the coast of Maine. This has been the best property so far as it’s proximity to the ocean kept us on the front porch enjoying the ocean breeze and sounds, The property itself appeared ‘new’ and was clean throughout. Many good restaurants within 20 min drive. Well done!

This house is beyond amazing. The location alone is worth the trip! Right on Gooch beach! This home has everything a family or large group would need for a week stay or long weekend. Close to downtown stores and restaurants was perfect.

What a way to celebrate a 60th bday with girlfriends! The view of the ocean from the front porch was spectacular and such fun to watch the surfers catching waves in the surf. The house was so roomy, clean and nicely decorated with plenty of comfy places to sit. We had fun cooking a meal one night-well-equipped kitchen and a dining table for 10. We would love to come back-Kennebunkport has an abundance of shops and food and the weather was perfect!

We celebrated my 60th birthday here with 5 adults and 4 grandchildren.
This house will have everything you need to enjoy your vacation on the beach! No need to pack beach chairs, coolers, towels or even kids sand toys. It is all there! A
well equipped, large kitchen made it easy for several of us to work together to prepare meals.
All of the rooms are a good size so that we did not feel on top of one another.
The views are gorgeous with the roar of the ocean made the front porch a favorite hangout for all of us.
We would love to do this again every year!

We loved our time in Maine - a wonderful relaxing vacation, in a beautiful place. It was so nice to be able to walk to get coffee in the morning, and to fabulous restaurants later in the day. The house was awesome - the front porch was delightful. Hope to be back next year!

We had the best long weekend stay! The house was perfect for our large party of kids and adults. We liked that the individual family units had space to spread out and hide away for bedtimes. Loved the large dining table for family meals. Kitchen was well equipped with plenty of storage. We had a big lobster dinner, yes they have lobster pots. Porch was amazing and so was the beach and watching the surfers! Weather wasn’t awesome while we were there so we truly enjoyed all the living spaces of the house on all floors. Brian was easy and friendly to communicate with. He made us feel welcomed and supported. Super clean. Great furnishings. Plenty of supplies for kitchen and bath. We walked into town easily even with young and old legs. This home and stay could not have been any more perfect. Truly a picture perfect stay. Highly recommended!!!

Exquisite house and property! The front porch is a huge plus!! Sitting on the front porch, looking at the ocean.... it doesn't get any better than that! The house is very clean and bigger and better than the pictures reflect. We loved the two walk-in showers and the water pressure is great. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. Plenty of room to spread out. The owner, Brian, was quick to respond and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this house rental and we hope to return again!

The house is just as pictured and situated within easy walking distance to the town center. We hiked in Rachel Carson park and in the Wells National Estuarine Research Center (fantastic!), as well as along the beaches. The house has many areas to sit and read or watch TV, either alone or together. The walk-in showers in the bathrooms on the 2nd floor have great water pressure, and the bed mattresses are really comfortable. If high tide is at night, you will definitely hear it from the house! Even with the brisk March winds, we bundled up in blankets to sit on the porch and enjoy the ocean view. While we didn’t need to use bedrooms or bathrooms in the basement level or third floor, everything looked well maintained and clean. Good dinners at Federal Jack’s, Alisson’s, and Litchfield’s Bar (Wells). Great food/drink supplies and take out at HB Provisions. Get coffee and sit a while at Mornings in Paris or Coffee Roasters.

Beautiful house for family & friends to unwind and enjoy! Brian is a great host and very responsive. My nephew said “I wish I could live in this house forever!” The master bedroom is beautiful! Loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves & waking up to the view of the ocean. Hope to return someday! Thank you Brian!!

This was the second time that I've rented this house; because I loved it so much the first time! Both times I went with a group of 11-14 and it fit us well with space to spare. The house was very clean & had all basic amenities.
The location is obviously beautiful; and its about a 20 minute walk to the Port area with shops & restaurants. Our intent was to take Ubers but it was rather difficult finding Ubers at the times we needed for a group of our size, so we ended up walking. Luckily it was decent weather (in February) so it was refreshing!
The hosts were excellent to work with and very accommodating. Thank you for a great stay, again!

With flood tides from a massive storm and roads closed, our host Brian got us in on Christmas Eve and saved our family vacation. He ended up not getting home until late Christmas Eve. I don’t know a lot of people who would have done that.

This was our second stay at Brian and Karen's beautiful home. Brian is a great host, the house is in a perfect location with all you would need (except your clothes and food, of course) provided.
We would love to be able to return again someday. The house, views and the Kennebunk area surrounding it are wonderful!

As the owner of a luxury rental firm, I am cognizant of the ramifications that a negative guest experience can have on a property, and I have never felt compelled to leave such a review - until now. My family and I had planned this trip to KennebunkPort for over a year, and suffice it to say, we all greatly looked forward to spending the two weeks together on the beach. The enthusiasm for our stay at this property began to fade right at check-in. The largest part of our family flew in from England, and with a strict 4 p.m. check-in, we were eager to settle in for the evening. Upon arrival at 4 p.m., we were greeted at the door by the cleaner to share the news that the property was not ready for us. We contacted the owner about an issue with the keycode door not operating correctly and also that we could not gain access as the cleaners were still present. They informed us that they would be finishing up soon. In fact, they did not complete the clean until shortly before 6 p.m., and only after we asked them if we could finally gain access. The cleaner agreed and apologised for the "stained linen" on the master bed, but that she did not have anymore with her. She also handed us a roll of trash bags and said she did not have time to put them in the bins. I was shocked by this but eager to get in and enjoy family time, so we let it go. Once we finally gained access to the home, we were profoundly disappointed with the condition of the property and the furnishings. The carpets are stained throughout, and the furnishings are very dated and need upgrading. There is also not enough seating to serve dinner to the number of people the house purports to accommodate. The owner also did not think to check the gas grill before guests checked in, and as such, the chef we paid over $1600 for an evening meal was unable to serve until 9:30 p.m. because it had to be cooked on the stove in a minimally stocked kitchen. The coup de grace of this whole experience came to us during check-out. I received a call from the owner complaining that we had left food (loaves of bread in the freezer that had not been used and unopened wine), there was sand on boogie boards in the garage, and make-up on one hand towel. After all the disappointments at the property and the year-long planning for an exceptional experience that went unfilled, I would think hard before considering booking this property for your family vacation.

Family Heritage
Beautiful setting in the comfort of a "home" that provided a relaxing, enjoyable experience for 3 generations of our family returning to the state of our maternal heritage. It was the great time for all of us, from the early morning coffee on the porch over-looking the ocean to the the kids having fun with the tic-tac-toe game in the living room.

Perfect Home on Gooch Beach in Kennebunkport!
From the homes location, to the home layout, to the amenities provided this house was perfect! We have 6 kids with us and we made the walk into kennebunk a few days which was awesome! Also having a beach in your front yard cant be beat! Parking was easy behind the home. The house had 3 floors PLUS basement which allowed us to give families and kids their own space. THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL WEEK!

Outstanding stay!
The house was better than expected and the perfect location for a group of friends to spend time nut still have plenty of privacy. Enjoyed the well supplied kitchen, great instructions for all the electronics, the unbelievable porch I never wanted to leave, ability to walk downtown and THE BEACH!!! Will definitey be back!
