The staff at this hotel have to be the loveliest people I've had the pleasure to meet. The staff in the food hall just couldn't do more to help and make everything perfect. One waiter 'Lito' told me he'd been working there for over 25 years! That's saying something. Rosario, Daniel, Ceci, Nicole we're all attentive and worked with such coordination it was lovely to see. One morning my mum couldn't make it to breakfast, and when they noticed she wasn't with me, they organised a breakfast that I could take to the room for her. Including two huge thermos jugs full of hot coffee/ milk. The staff in the orchid bar Jorge and Maria, were friendly and chatty, and made some lovely cocktails. The lifeguard José was just so friendly and welcoming with everyone and helped us find the perfect spot with shade. The receptionists made check in/out really fast and easy. Even the gardeners and maintenance men/women were friendly and smiley every time they passed by. Gave a really nice happy atmosphere. We loved the enormous pool. My son and I didn't want to get out! The rooms were nice and modern and the beds were really comfortable. The WiFi worked well in block A. Well enough to watch Netflix before bed. The walk in showers were lovely, again we didn't want to get out of that either. The surrounding gardens full of beautiful plants and trees, animals and birds gave the place a lovely feel to it. Even though the hotel was full, it felt empty and private. There were always sunbeds free, and tables free in the dining area. It was a lovely stay. Will definitely be going back.

Even though the staff in the food hall were amazing and without fault, I didn't find the food in the evenings up to the standard of the hotel. There was little choice and a lot of the things tasted the same. That being said, the breakfast buffet was fine. If I do come back I will just go for breakfast only and eat elsewhere or cook in the appartment. There was abseloutly nothing else I could find fault in, at this hotel.

Everything is clean, the garden is beautiful, nice pool and beautiful views from the restaurant. Onsite supermarket and free coffee are a bonus. Kitchen and bathrooms are nicely renovated.

It's dated. broken tiles in walkways, dirty concrete pathways, no elevator and aircon. I'll think its a better 3star plus hotel, not a 4 star or even 5star

it’s close enough to the main town, airport and port, but it’s far enough away too. The staff are so friendly and the grounds are superb with the wildlife free to enjoy everything from Parrots to Turtles. It is very well laid out and kept immaculate. If you want the beach, cross one not very busy road and you have your own beautiful beach area.

Hacienda San Jorge has a natural vibe, very calm and Lola (arara) whose I loved the most

Beautiful gardens and pool. Room a little dated (I think we were in an old one) but it was comfortable and aspect onto the garden was lovely.

Super hotel. Room on 3rd floor with terrace and views to the sea. Friendly staff in restaurant- excellent choices at breakfast and dinner. easy walking around the local vicinity.

Difficult to park on arrival

The room was nice and spacious, divided between a living area, sleeping area and bathroom. The shower was great - amazing pressure and temperature. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a beach, which looked like it'd have been lovely (if I'd gone at a time with better weather). It's also on a hiking trail right up to Montaña De La Breña, where there's some amazing views (though parts of that trail pass along roads with no paths). The outdoor parts of the hotel were very well sheltered from the high winds which hit the island whilst I was there, so I was able to swim in the hotel's outdoor pool, despite the nearby beach being shut to swimming.

The surrounding area was too touristy for my liking. I know many people like having everything catered towards holidaymakers, but personally I found it lacking in culture or history. I didn't find the TV selection very inspiring. Newer hotels have started providing streaming services, like netflix. But here, it was old-fashioned satellite TV. The only English-language channels were news and I didn't really want to spend my holiday watch 24-hour rolling coverage of war.

Good traditional room, super gardens, nice breakfast, excellent location.

Picnic breakfast as we had to leave early was a bit poor. No pool bar.

We booked a superior sea view room- it was very spacious with a small kitchen, lounge area and balcony. There is a very spacious pool area, plenty of sun loungers and lovely well planted gardens with water features and a resident parrot. Location is good, direct access to black sand beach with one beach restaurant. It was easy and quick to get taxis into Santa Cruz - 8-10 euros each way. Staff were very helpful.

No kettle in the kitchen, no welcome things in the fridge or basics like tissues. The bar was open 10am to 3pm and served complimentary tea and coffee, a nice touch, but there was nowhere open to have an evening drink or a drink before dinner. Due to the location of the hotel the balcony’s don’t get afternoon sun on the sea view side and limited sun on the pool side.

Breаkfast was very good, excellent garden.

Easy to find, stunnung gardens

The breakfasts were excellent. However, the buffet style eveing meal was not of great quality There is no bar facility in the hotel

Reception staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and the bed comfy and the shower delivered a gushing amount of hot water from the rain showerhead.

The separate shower head fixture was faulty in our room (108A).

Perfect spot near the port

You are expected to wash the dishes in your room with your own soap and sponge that you have to bring with you. Strange....

Very cold pool (November)

Very nice everything and very kind staff. Very good and cheap public transport facilities, basically you don't need a car.

Customer service its first class, Breakfast is delicious. Close to beach.

In booking hotel announcement, park car is included on hotel, but when we arrived park car is not included and we park on the street.

Very friendly staff, going the extra mile to make us enjoy our stay. Wonderful gardens with a very well tended pool and sitting area. Rooms very clean with the extra benefit of a kitchenette area (Premium Apartment in our case). A big thank you to the waiters who made the 18th birthday of my son extra special!

Basically nothing.

Rooms are very big. There's an entrance close to the beach. Many options for breakfast. Wifi is OK

There is no parking on site. Parking is possible nearby and it's possible to leave the car in front of the hotel while checking in

Staff was always kind and nice. Chef always available to explain me the gluten free options. They have a beautiful and huge garden.

Free the tropical bird and please add a little bit more food variety and gluten free options :-)
