Big Country Cabin è stata la descrizione del nostro nipotino di 4 anni, che è stato il nostro primo ospite nel 2013. Vive in città e ama il nostro grande paese aperto. Un ospite successivo descrisse la cabina come La piccola casa nella prateria. Appartato, confinante con Black Hills National Forest e Wind Cave National Park con accesso rapido a Custer State Park. Cabina appena finito. Meravigliosa vetrata e patio per godersi la tranquillità, il paesaggio, la fauna selvatica, il cielo aperto con un'abbondanza di stelle. Tavolo da picnic per consumare i pasti mentre vi godete l'aria aperta.
Aria condizionata e riscaldamento, internet-WiFi; 2 camere da letto con letti queen size con biancheria da letto fornita, stanza aggiuntiva nel soggiorno per materassi ad aria, e divano full size, pac e giochi per neonati o bambini; bagno completo con vasca / doccia con asciugamani forniti, ferro arricciacapelli e asciugacapelli; cucina completa con macchina per il caffè, tostapane, piastra, pentole, stoviglie, griglia elettrica interna / esterna, utensili, asciugamani.

Very quiet and peaceful. The cabin was clean and close to the local attractions.

My husband and I brought the kids to the cabin for a vacation to see the Black Hills. The cabin is in an ideal location to see the sights. After sightseeing we came back to the cabin in the evening to relax and take in the quiet and beautiful view of the pasture. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with towels, blankets and toiletries. The kids enjoyed walking around the property. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a place to stay that is beautiful, peaceful and relaxing.

The cabin was exactly as advertised and the perfect place for our brief visit to the area. This was our first visit to the Black Hills but we'll be back. Thanks for the recommendation to drive thru Spearfish Canyon, the mountain goats were amazing.

The cabin was exactly as described in the VRBO description. The cabin was spotless and you could tell that Perry and Sharon take pride in their cabin. There is over 200 acres to explore or just to sit on the porch and enjoy. Thank you so much for sharing your piece of paradise. We wish we could have stayed longer.

If you like beautiful scenery, watching wildlife, peace and quiet…while still a short drive to the sites of The Black Hills, this place is for you. There are actually 3 rentals on this property and I’ve stayed in two. I love this place!

We were so blessed to experience a weekend at this location Peaceful, quiet setting with friends and family in a well stocked cabin... what more can you ask for?! The hosts were very helpful to accomodate our needs. They went above and beyond to help us when we had an unfortunate situation arise. They were very accommodating to our needs. The registration process was easy and all questions and communication were addressed quickly. A very special feature of this cabin was to find an abundant supply of all linens and towels AND a well stocked kitchen including spices, sugar, coffee and filters and some condiments was a treasure to find! When I was reading about the cabin in the comments, I saw that they had a crockpot./ slow cooker.! Honestly, What a smart idea to offer in a Vrbo location! Having a roast greeting you upon returning from a day of sightseeing or hiking was such a delight! Who knew such a minor thing could be be such an asset while on vacation. The log cabin itself was pristine and set in the tranquil environment of the rolling hills. Magnificent! The night skies were like no other. Given the opportunity, we will definitely come and stay here again! A 5 star place in our opinion.

This property was everything I wanted in a vacation. The property is beautiful with wildlife everywhere, the cabin is comfortable and clean and the owners were very friendly. It’s also very close to Custer state park and Wind Cave national park. This area is a great place for hiking and viewing wildlife and escaping the crowded areas up north.

Sharon and Perry went above and beyond to make this cabin a peaceful and comfortable place to stay. My daughters and I couldn’t ask for a better place to relax and recharge for the next days adventures. We actually stayed at the cabin one day instead of venturing out because the serenity just overwhelmed us . I have already recommended Sharon and Perry’s Big Country Cabin to a friend. Adorable cabin in Custer County
My husband, son, and I loved our time here. The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Owner briefly introduced herself one morning as we were leaving; I'm sure if we had needed anything during our stay, she would have taken care of it right away. We loved seeing the cows and the gorgeous view each morning and evening, and even experienced two double rainbows! Cabin is close to town, Wind Cave, Custer State Park, Crazy Horse, and Mt. Rushmore. Nothing but positive things to say about our visit!

Spectacular Vistas, Serene Setting
This little cabin was the perfect place to get away and enjoy the essence and beauty of the Black Hills. The property is off the beaten path and offers the feel of seclusion and privacy. There is a house up the hill from and behind the cabin, but there are no windows in the back of the cabin, and it faces away from the house, so when we sat out on the porch enjoying the view, it felt like we were alone on the property, which was nice. The only negative I would note is that the mattresses on the two beds were not very comfortable, but the positives far outweigh that one negative such that I would stay there again. I highly recommend selecting this property for your South Dakota getaway. It truly is a little treasure. Note to travelers - the city of Hot Springs, which is about 4 miles south of the cabin, appears to have taken an economic hit and never recovered, so you'll want to drive to Custer - a great little town - for food, shopping, art, ATV rental, etc. The drive there is beautiful and replete with buffaloes, pronghorns, prairie dogs and other critters, and you can visit Wind Cave and Custer State Park along the way if you choose. Being in the Black Hills is like heaven on earth. If you're so inclined, take the drive from Custer to Deadwood - it's SPECTACULAR! - and then on to Spearfish to drive through Spearfish Canyon. Just when you think you've seen all the Black Hills has to offer, you turn the corner and see something new: some new geographic formation or landscape, waterfall, river, or lake. The natural beauty in this part of the world is truly breathtaking.

Exactly what we were looking for
This was to be a quick trip to the Black Hills to visit family. Cabin was in the perfect area as it was a few miles from our relatives. The owner was proactive in making sure we got there even though we would be getting in later in the evening. No worries and really enjoyed the property. Thanks!

Four adults stayed 4 nights. A clean, comfortable, well-situated cabin with all the anemities of home. Enjoy your morning coffee watching the sun rise. Our daughter-in-law had never experienced the beauty of the Black Hills of South Dakota. She is awe-struck. Bring a telescope to view the spectacular night sky right out the front door. Bring binoculars to view the wildlife. Go on hikes. Sightsee. Close to Wind Cave and Custer National Parks. The Hot Springs and surrounding area is worth the trip in itself. We can't say anything negative. Highly Recommend!

Loved this cabin, very quiet, peaceful location. We stayed here during a golf outing to Southern Hills golf course, perfect location for that. We also enjoyed some dining options in Hot Springs and Custer.

Wonderful country getaway
Only an hour or less from many of our country’s most beautiful sites and super cozy little cabin in the country. (Our Google Maps worked fine getting us there). Our family truly enjoyed our stay and Sharon was so helpful and friendly. We’ll definitely recommend for travelers who need a little time away from the hustle and bustle of the world!

We really enjoyed the cabin, it was perfect for our family of 4. The sunrise was beautiful and peaceful. The mammoth dig site and wind caves were just a short distance away, rapid city was a bit further so plan to make a day of it. Property owners were great to deal with and very friendly.

Perfect and cozy! 200 acre valley getaway. The cabin was so soundproof and we all slept like rocks!
Sharon and Perry were easy to get a hold of if we had any questions. The kids had room to explore and climb hills. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with dishes. We will return to this cabin on our next trip to SD.
