Awesome pool, nice patio, nice beach area

Staff were a bit unorganized and paying for items like a drink with a credit card was a pain. Posting also said massage was available as an extra service but was not available in hotel or anywhere in town!

We loved the location; proximity to beach and sea could not have been easier. Although not bang in the middle of the small centre, all the restaurants were a very easy 5-10 min walk, which was perfect for us. The pool was also great, a nice deep end, very clean and perfect temperature. To have the same sun loungers every day for the duration of our stay made life easier and they were great - we couldn’t have asked for more. Check in was also very efficient and our triple room was fine. Bathroom spacious and everything very clean. We also didn’t even realise the room next door was occupied so the sound proofing obviously very good. Also on site free parking made everything super easy. It’s not easy to find parking in Sperlonga, let alone free. It’s a really good hotel for families.

A few of the women serving breakfast were very grumpy and appeared to do their best to ignore us. Each morning we had to find someone and ask for coffee. This didn’t seem to be a problem for the other Italian families. Although clearly English, we live in Italy and speak decent Italian. We couldn’t help but feel we weren’t as welcome as the locals. The breakfast itself was adequate. Lots of sweet pastries but nothing much for those who prefer something savoury. I had bread, cheese and ham most mornings. Perfectly fine but nothing to write home about. The hotel is expensive. I wouldn’t describe is as brilliant value for money but having a pool was important for us, and I think you pay for the privilege. All in all, we would return. It was an easy and enjoyable stay with a near perfect location. If the staff could make an effort to be friendlier, offer coffee at breakfast (without us having to ask 2-3 times), and offer a wider selection of fruit and savoury items, I think the hotel would improve substantially.

The economy room was extremely basic, inadequate for a four star hotel. Therefore, we needed to upgrade to a more expensive room.

Absolutely no service from restaurant employees. They were nonchalant and did not deliver what you ordered. Eastern Europe atmosphere from its worst side. So please management, put them all in training for a few days to learn how to do it.
