Nice big house on large lot. Lots of room. Game room is fun and big front porch to enjoy lakeview. We used it as a base camp for my daughter's wedding in January (26F w/ freezing rain) but it would also make an excellent summer family retreat.

We had a group of 15 family members in town for a wedding. This place was perfect for our stay. And all amenities were as described and suited our needs!

The house is well appointed, clean, and has a great location. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this home.

Great lay-out of the home, plenty of room, comfortable beds. Spacious kitchen enjoyed the pool table relaxing and inviting home.

The house was rented for my daughter’s wedding so everyone could stay together for the event. I have to say, this house is the most stocked house I have ever rented! You absolutely don’t need to bring anything for the kitchen. The bathrooms have so much more to offer than any hotel. Everyone loved the views in the morning with a cup of coffee. There were lots of games to play and plenty of space for a large group. None of the kitchen equipment was used during our stay so we don’t know if they worked. The beds were decent and everyone seemed to sleep well. There were water toys available but we didn’t have time to use anything. One guest decided to fish in the lake and even though there were several fishing poles available for our use, there wasn’t a complete pole.CONS: I paid dearly for the “cleaning” for our stay. Upon arrival and inspection, the house had cob webs all over the place. Bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, entry way, hallway, laundry room. The dishes had a sticky film, the corners had fuzz, but overall I guess it was livable. The grass was tall and needed mowed. But the big thing was the ice maker. It didn’t work and there was no ice to be had. We had to buy a bag of ice for drinks and that was an inconvenience. On the second day, I did find a stack of ice trays to make our own but it was too late at that time. The house had some major foundation issues but that didn’t affect our stay, except several bedroom doors wouldn’t close so that took away from some privacy.

This house has lots of space. It was clean and it is in a great neighborhood. Note that it is on Lake Lorraine not Lake Conroe but Lake Conroe is just across the highway. One small nit was no Kleenex to be found in the house! It would be great if a box was in each bathroom as you'd find in a hotel.

This place was a perfect home for our group of girls! Everyone had a bed to sleep in, with plenty of space. The layout allowed everyone to gather in one room or even find a quite spot all alone. The view of Lake Loraine was beautiful while drinking coffee or a night cap! I am considering booking again for a family gathering! You won’t be disappointed…beautiful area, plenty to do!

Very roomy. SO many things yo do. House well stocked with anything you can think of. Great view. Mgt. very friendly and helpful.

We loved the location of the property. The private lake is perfect for fishing, kayaks and paddle boats. Plenty of inside activities to escape the heat of the day - pool table and board games. Unfortunately there was a water main break and the whole neighborhood was out of water for about 7 hours. Rough with so many people in one house. Not the owner's fault, just dumb luck. Overall a good stay and great family time.

Perfect place!

This location is lovely. Close to all the restaurants and marinas. They have a private boat launch for the neighborhood so that was very convenient. We had one issue when the code to the gate at the ramp wouldn’t work but I contacted Vanessa and she replied right back with the correct code. I would definitely recommend.

Great place to stay. Morning coffee was awesome on the front porch. Lots of room! Would definitely stay again!

Traveling with three Vegan chefs and a Paleo chef, we enjoyed the large kitchen to prepare foods for the conference. Beds are luxurious and Dr Ren enjoyed her spa bath 💕 The fireplace created a cozy environment to connect with old and new friends. We had a great stay at Vanessa’s home. It was large, well stocked and perfect for a family stay. The game room was a hit with pool table, ping pong and darts available. I would recommend this rental place to others

We were in town for my brother's wedding. This property was perfect for our large group of adults and kids! The big kids really enjoyed the game room and the fenced in yard was perfect for the little kids.

Enjoyed the winter holidays in this home. The dining room table was large enough for all of us. The game room provided space for nonstop fun and the cosy living room with large fireplace was a refuge for the introverts in our group. The owner was helpful and responsive before and during out stay.

The house had plenty of space and was well stocked with just about anything you could think of. Awesome game room, patio and kitchen. We would love to come back in the summer when it's not cold to enjoy the lake more.

This beautiful, ranchstyle home was perfect for our family gathering, and the fenced in back yard was great for the furbabies. The view did not disappoint! Gorgeous fall colors abound and we also observed unique area birds. Even though it was a bit wet and cold, we did enjoy fishing off the bank! (catch an release) This home is well stocked with everything you need for cooking! We loved the big game room attached to the kitchen! The owner quickly responded to any concerns and we will definitely consider coming back!

The kitchen area was perfect for our family reunion. Unfortunately the grill and ice/water dispensers did not work—we changed our menu to accommodate this but the men in the family were disappointed they could not stand around the BBQ.

This is our 2nd time staying in this property. Is very comfortable and homey. Lots to do in the area, wide variety of great restaurants within a couple of miles. Will be back again for sure.

although the labeling of light switches throughout house was helpful, it was still difficult to find the correct one for lights. As house was dark, suggest lamps be added in bedrooms. filtered/dispensed water & ice from refrigerator were not working and the kitchen faucet water had a bad taste and should be checked. Until ice maker is repaired, suggest ice trays be made available. (Bags of ice were left for next guest) The carpet was worn, suggest replacing it. Tissues/kleenex are suggested in all bathrooms and bedrooms. It was not clear from property description that the house is NOT located on Lake Conroe. It was not clear that Damage Insurance would be req’d - it should be optional instead of being included at time of booking and payment. Owner responsiveness to messages was poor - we only rec'd automated messages

Our stay there was very nice. The house is really big. My sons really loved the pool table. Only thing was the ice maker was broke. It would of helped to know this before we arrived. We left a bag of ice for the next renters. Also, The water is very hard on your hair. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time. Everything you might need was available. Except a cheese grater. The house is quite large and has room enough for everyone. There has been some foundation issues so some of the bedroom doors won't close or make noise opening and closing. But, a great house all in all!
