Reception was friendly and efficient. Street parking was available at no cost. There were also a few spots directly at the door of the hotel. Our double room was large with an en suite and a large balcony. Breakfast was pre-ordered each day and was fresh. Egg was cooked to order. Beds were large and comfortable. Location was perfect! Around the corner from the Eisstadion (we attended a hockey game), Therme (Spa), and you could catch a ski bus to the nearby lifts. The center of town and the train station were less than a 10 minute walk. Very doable without a car.

Instant coffee packs in the room would have been nice. Tea bags were provided, however, and a coffee machine was available at the reception for €2, so this was a minor issue.

Great location walking distance from the slope. Very clean and comfy.

Wonderful hosts. on-site parking. individually made breakfasts. Location, walking to the downtown Garmisch area very accessible. Room was lovely, view from our room was breathtaking.

Quaint Mountain Chalet

Smell at reception

Every morning I was blown away with how good the breakfast was. We had an amazing view with everything we needed, fridge, kettle, etc

We booked the chalet and it was amazing very comfortable and full of facilities. Balcony has the best view in Garmisch. I will book the same accomedation when I visit Garmisch again

I think nothing negative in this hotel but if I would say something, I think elevator is better to be there espcially for old people.

Close to lifts, city center and train station by foot. Very friendly and helpful staff/host. Highly recommended, especially for the ones who goes for skiing and wants to stay overnight

Excellent location. The ski bus and train station are just at the end of the road (5 minute walk). The main town with a good variety of restaurants is also only 5-10 minutes away. The breakfast at the hotel was superb. Good choice with a lot of fresh options. Really enjoyed the local honey, fruit pots and smoothies! The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Lovely to have a balcony! The hosts were very kind and accommodating.

The whirlpool tub (12 euro to use) is not a true hot tub. More like a high-end residential bath tub that doesn't get as hot as you would like.

The breakfast was delicious. Every day we were offered a different pastry to go with our meal. The yoghurt with walnuts and honey was divine.

breakfast was amazing, the view was amazing, the location was perfect and easy to walk to most places. In addition, we got free bus passes for the entire stay. We could see the mountains and even ski slopes from our room.

Exceptional location; very quiet. Parking worked very well, no issues, something always available. One of the cleanest hotels I have ever visited. Owner is very present, and takes a very personal interest in ensuring your stay is a success without getting in your way. Very efficient check-in/out. Would most definitely stay here again, and would definitely recommend.

Only one small suggestion, which would be to begin breakfast at 0730 instead of 0800.

Small parking lot, but plenty of free street parking right by.

A small and friendly hotel, located just a few minutes walk from the Zugspitze railway station, which in turn is next to the main railway station. It's also around 5 minutes to the center of Garmisch, and lots of good restaurants are easily reached. We slept well, and the bathroom was clean and modern. It's nice that they offer free tea/coffee in the afternoon, and there is a place to sit and sip on a hot drink while enjoying a view to a snow-covered peak in the distance. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

It was a little warm in the room for us, although that was easily (if a tad wastefully) fixed by opening the window for a short time.
