The best location in the old town and Baku, very close to the sea promenade, restaurant area and many tourist attractions. Actually we liked everything, especially the super friendly and helpful staff! especially Valid and Orkhan! big thanks to you guys! it was just amazing when we jmentioned during the check-in that it would be great to see FK Qarabag Agdam match in the conference league and 3 hours later the guys got us 2 tickets!

well the hotel needs some renovation. this is why I’m giving 9/10. I think with some effort and investment, Sultan Inn could be the best boutique hotel in Baku

Loud noises at 4:30 when the restaurant moves its furniture, sounds like they are remodelling and we couldn’t sleep but the front desk solved the problem within 2 mins.

We stayed in the hotel two nights. On the first night there was terrible noise coming from the upstairs restaurant until 5 AM. It was absolutely impossible to sleep. The explanation from the reception was that "they were cleaning the restaurant". On the second night luckily the noise stopped at 12.00 AM. We were not able to use the television. When we asked the reception for help the answer was "we don't know how it works either". The breakfast was not a buffet, but you had to choose from a limited menu. For everything else you had to pay. Considering the very high price of the room it looks unbelievable. On checking out it was impossible to pay by credit card. I had two and neither of them was working. The reception was very rudely telling me that i had no money on my card and asked me to pay by cash. When i double checked with my credit card issuers i was told that i had € 5.000,00 on one card and € 3.000,00 on the other (the bill was € 482,00). The story was always similar whenever we went through Azerbaigian, but i didn't expect this behaviour from a "high class" hotel. I was clearly wrong. All considering, my personal advice is to stay well clear of Sultan Inn Hotel

Location, breakfast, restaurant view, staff all were nice and mostly friendly, pleasant. The fridge was not working, but got fixed eventually.

We were surprised they gave us a room in the first floor with no windows or window overlooking inside, constantly blocked with curtains for privacy, although they did not seem to be fully booked. Rooms do not have "do not disturb" or "clean my room" signs. You have to ask in person. Rooms were not cleaned well, but just fair. The blanket in the double bed is small and can hardly cover two people. The air-conditioner in that room was noisy and did not work well. You need it, because the room has no proper windows.

The location is perfect- right near the Maidens Tower and the old town. The building has a lot of nice features, and the staff were very helpful.

I believe the restaurant is operated by a separate company. Service on my first two mornings was slow, although very few people were there and there were plenty of staff. However, on my last morning the waiter was very friendly. I wish I knew his name.

The hotel is luxurious, welcoming, with notes of authenticity. All the staff is professional both at the reception and in the rooms and in the restaurant. The view from the restaurant is fascinating. I will be happy to recommend this hotel to close people.

I asked for a room with a good view and got room #7 with a spectacular view of Maiden Tower, for which I paid extra. It was above a thriving restaurant which was noisy until 3 or 4am on the 4 nights I was there. I quite liked the liveliness but others may not like the noise. The staff were all very gracious, the room was beautifully appointed, the traditional breakfast on the rooftop terrace was gorgeous and very abundant, with fantastic views to boot. And the hotel is in the best location in Old Town. Highly recommended

My one tiny gripe was that I asked for no house-keeping, but on the first day my room WAS cleaned. Not a problem in itself, but my room door was not properly closed afterwards and anyone could have walked in. A moment of carelessness on someones' part.

actually we liked everything, the location is great, we were enjoying the food in the cafe where we used to have our breakfast. The staff are amazing they are so nice and the service was super amazing, the room was super clean. Its near to Nizami street and to most of the nice location that you might visit definitely we are coming back in the winter
