Breakfast seemed good. I had to leave quickly so didn't get to appreciate it. Staff were lovely and helpful.

Instructions about parking beforehand would have been great. But otherwise, everything was great.

A great choice thanks to the nice staff, perfect location if you want to stay very close to the Old City, and tasty breakfast serving local products and dishes. In fact, we stayed 2 nights longer than intended. The room quite small and basic but definitely good enough (two single beds and a small table with a kettle). Basic lodging, just as in the offer, towels, hair dryer, shower gel. There are free snacks in the dining room 24/7 (fruit, tea, coffee). If you pay extra, you can get a beer or wine. Air conditioning working fine, good in February to warm up the room. If you're interested in paid tours (Israel / West Bank), talk to the Manager and he'll surely help you arrange everything. No problem with late check-in (even very late). Directions to the place sent by Booking messages (the last light train from the railway station takes off around 23:00, then you can try to catch a bus).

The windows need a bit of fixing to stop the cold getting into the room. In summer this wouldn't be a problem I guess. And, as I said, once you turned the heating on (air conditioning), it quickly got warm in the room.

Excelent location, close to the Damascus gate of the old town, very friendly and helpful staff. The room was comfortable and spacious., The breakfast was rich and tasty. I really enjoyed the time there!

Location was near to everything. Front desk staff was accomodating and very helpful.

The shower room was too small. You cannot bend or what. Even small thin people has difficulty moving around the shower room. The worst was on the 2nd night. The jacket of my friend was lost. We inform the front desk to check the cctv and we can see that that there is something that one of the cleaning staff do. So we were disappointed and the hotel staff told us that they will investigate what happend. Next day was our flight so we didnt know what happend to the investigation. So hopefully it will not happend to others because it is a religious guesthouse.

the staff were amazing and could not have been more helpful, we felt so welcomed that it was like visiting family, nothing was too much trouble. location is great, great places to eat within 5mins and only 5mins from Damascus gate to the old city, but it was the staff that made it so exceptionally great

if we had to pick something it would be the size of the en-suite bathroom, they were tiny and missing a pane of glass so water ended up on the floor but this is something really minor and should not put you off

No extractor fan or it wasn't working in the toilet. Couldn't get the TV to work.

Strange smell in the rooms - mixture of moist and chemicals. Suspiciously looking linen - stains and holes.

Really loved my stay: having a church in the property, the breakfast, the familiar environment, the location. I hope to return!

Bathroom is very small but sufficient for the affordable price.

It was not far from the old city, breakfast was decent and staff was friendly. Parking was provided and elevator as well.

The bathroom we had smelled really bad and were extremely small. Bring your own soap. Soap is different from the US. Room to cold and no heater was provided.

Breakfast (awesome and delicious!) definetly saved the respect for this accomodation and the great staff.

Despite the fact that is an ex-church (Didn’t bothered me) there were a few things that I disn’t accept: all of the bed sheets and some towels had hair and were dirty and in the first day it was a bad smell that come from the toilet but after some hours it disappeared.

I really enjoyed my stayed. The guys from the reception are very polite and ready to help. There isa church in front the reception, I could feel peace in that place. I really recommend :) and is very close to the old town.
