Great Location with a short walk (1/4 mile) to Lake Placid and the Olympic sites. Its a short 20 min drive to Whiteface mountain....10 minutes if you are, by some miracle, able to keep up with the locals. Both had incredible views! The place was clean, the host was gracious and accommodating, and the olympic decor and reference materials put out for the visitors were useful, informative and entertaining! Thank you! We will be back!

This was a wonderful place to stay in Lake Placid. It was perfect for my partner, our two dogs, and I. It’s a great location and very easy to get to. The owner had signs posted all around that made everything super easy for us and it was plenty of space. It was very conveniently located a few minutes away from Downtown Lake Placid too. We really enjoyed our stay here!

It was very relaxing. Kinda made you feel like you were at home! I liked that it was within walking distance to a trail and the the shops. Very enjoyable!

Stay was great once we finally got in. VRBO never gave an address or access code then compounded matters by telling me to get a hotel. Long story short, finally spoke with the property owner who was fantastic. Great comfortable home, good location and she had an adorable dog. Would happily stay there again.

We decided last minute to cheer on some friends competing in the Iron Man. The owners of this apartment were very quick to confirm the rental, which was appreciated. While the apartment is connected to the main house, it was very quiet and private, and walkable distance to town (we didn’t drive once we arrived until we left three days later). On the rustic side, very clean and user friendly. It was a pleasure to stay there.

Very responsive host, answered all of our questions super fast. The location was perfect.. close enough to anything you might need or want to do. But away from the busy town area. Our son played with the CanAm hockey camp, and it was about 3 minutes drive to the 1980 rink on back roads so there was no messing with the main road traffic. It couldn't have been better. Being away from town it was super quiet and peaceful. The apartment was a great size and VERY clean. We loved having the bbq to make steaks and burgers. Pretty much everything for making meals that you'd need was there. (Side note: go grocery shopping!! eating at the restaurants was insanely $$$$ pricey) And we were able to bring our dog along on our family trip as well. We would absolutely stay again!!

This apartment was a great find for visiting Lake Placid. The location was convenient for going into town and surrounding areas. The kitchen was well equipped and the furnishings throughout were very comfortable. We appreciate the hosts allowing us a later check out to enjoy our stay without having to rush. Thanks!

Great place to stay! Short walk to the shopping strip. Easy access, had everything we needed for the weekend. We were in town for Worlds Synchronized skating competition. It’s was so nice not to have to worry about parking all weekend.

We were very pleased with this property, this was my first time staying at a VRBO and this property did meet our expectations. Our host was very responsive to a few questions I had even though those details were listed on the posting. We would recommend this property and would saty again.

Property had everything you needed for a short or extended stay. It was clean, pet friendly, close to town (0.8 mile) and within 200 yards of the Jack Rabbit Trail. Great place for two or three people and would definitely come back if in the area again and would also recommend to a friend. Bill

A nice relaxing getaway, very close to downtown

We had the most amazing weekend getaway at this super cute and cozy property. For starters, the host provides very in-depth details for the check-in process to make it as smooth as possible and is extremely responsive. We arrived later in the evening and the host had outdoor lights on and had the driveway cleared, even during a snow storm to ensure we felt comfortable/safe upon arrival. The inside of the property is the most coziest and Lake Placid themed I’ve ever stayed at in this area. From the unique Olympic memorabilia decor to soft fleece winter sheets this host really knows how to do things and out did themselves. There are clear instructions for everything that is included in the apartment along with emergency contacts. I’m a clean freak and there was not one speck of dust. The host are animal lovers and even have pet supplies in the apartment just incase you forget to bring something. The location is excellent being close enough to Main Street that you could walk, however tucked away in a residential area away from the standard tourist chaos to give that super homey vibe. It ultimately was a fantastic experience and we will be booking this property moving forward anytime we are in the area. If this spot is available book it because you will not be disappointed!

Really convenient place and lots of effort was put into making our stay as comfortable as possible.

We were fortunate to find this property to stay for 3 wonderful nights. The weather was perfect, the apartment was cozy, well-furnished, and just right for the three of us. We were close to town, but far away enough to enjoy peaceful days and nights. Our host was very nice and couldn’t have done anything more . Loved it here!

My wife and I were in town for a wedding and needed a place to crash and wanted access to a kitchen for breakfasts, snacks, coffee, etc. This place worked out well. We squeezed in a short hike between wedding weekend events and found this place to be well equipped and clean. Coffee grinder? Check. Cooking essentials? Check. These and other thoughtful touches made it much better for us than a hotel. The mattress was OK; both of us would have preferred firmer.

Everything was peaceful and pleasant! There were trails near the house that I took my dog on every day. Also was nice walking distance to town which made everything easier!

I really liked the place it was a nice little getaway for us and the dogs. All of the towels and linens, toilet paper and paper towels were provided which was nice along with the kitchen stocked and we were able to make full use of it. I thought the No ac would be an issue but with the windows open and a fan it was actually comfortable especially since the weather in lake placid isn’t too hot. Overall, it was a good place we had a great time and would definitely go again

We had everything we needed in this quaint guest house, and had a lovely time! Very close and convenient to Main Street, though those hills are not for the faint of heart!

Everything went smoothly!

Everything went smoothly. This was a great spot right between the few box store and the cute little down town area so we were convenient to everything. The space was clean and welcoming, and honestly more “modern” than I expected from the pictures. The shower was hot and good flow. Lots of thermostats to adjust each area as needed. I did whack my shoulder on the crazy corner on the stairs, but I’m a klutz so I blame myself for that. We would definitely stay here again.
