Nice location, spacious and clean room. Bed was comfortable and fresh. The owner was very nice, polite and friendly. We also appreciated the breakfast option in café on ground floor.

Lovely room with small but beautifully appointed bathroom and kind and attentive owners. Welcome toast with homemade limoncello was above and beyond - plus delicious. Small upstairs patio overlooking the (steep) small street was nice to relax on. Local shuttle to Nat'l park and other locations nearby. Arrangements for well priced tasty breakfast at bar downstairs. Recycling made easy. Great location. This is really what travel is about - human connection. A truly relaxing and top notch stay.

Of course, many stairs - it's Cinque Terra. Bathroom lights on timers can surprise you in the shower - open door & they'll pop back on. Outside door key a bit tricky. I'm really reaching, though, this stay was really great.

Room was on the main road, but on a quiet bend of the street so it was quiet at night. Facilities were very nice. Hosts were friendly and provided excellent restaurant suggestions (our favorite was Aristides!)

If you left the window open, you will be awoken by trucks unloading and church bells ringing. closing the window solves it (and there is air conditioning). Room was on 2nd floor so pack lightly (which we did!)

This hotel was stunning, great location, amazing views from the room and really clean and comfortable. Donatella was so lovely and kind, she gave us great recommendations, will definitely be staying here again, great base for exploring Cinque Terre.

The location was very easy to find and just up the hill with about 10 steps to our room, which was nice. We also liked Manarola the best. Bed was comfortable and ac worked well, which was great as it was very hot! The owner gave good dinner recommendations as well.

Lovely place to stay! The owners were lovely and made us feel so welcome. The location is outstanding, near all the main amenities but away from the busy Main Street. Me and my partner loved the outdoor area to relax on the evening. The breakfast is so good and great value for money, not part of the hotel but you get a discount and it’s in the same building. We hope to come back one day!

Automatic lights in the bathroom make it difficult to fall back asleep after going in the middle of the night. Two sets of keys would have been appreciated.

We had such a lovely stay at Da Paulin. Our room was modern and clean and located just out from the bustle of the main part of town so it was quiet and peaceful. The host is so friendly and helpful.

Location was excellent, cafe nearby had quick tasty food. Very friendly staff and helped us when we had questions about the area. The room was large and very comfortable. Very grateful for the AC unit with how hot it was during our visit.

Eraldo is a real gentleman, friendly, helpful but not obtrusive. The room was excellent. Beautifully furnished. Typically excellent Italian craftmanship. Very clean. Comy bed and lovely hot shower. We were delighted that Eraldo & Donatella had family in Scotland, spoke excellent English. Very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast in nearby cafe was delicioso! We visited in spring and were delighted that the village felt more full of locals than tourists. We visited the other villages and they each had their own character but Manarola was the most charming. We walked for hours on the many hiking paths and ate well in several restaurants. It is very easy to zip around between villages by train, these run frequently and go until late at night. The westerly 2 villages have nice beaches but felt more touristy. If you like gardening then you will enjoy walking the paths above the village. It is a chance to look at beautiful small terraced plots, citrus, figs, grapes, olives, vegetables. Heavenly.

May not suit if have difficulties with steps / hill walking

We have enjoyed our stay in Da Paulin quite a lot. The place is owned by couple, which are both very kind and willing to help as best as they could. There are probably 3 apartments in the residence. You get a generous breakfast from the bistro below for 7 eur. The room is clean and spacious with nice view on Manarola.

Only issue which we had was with the WiFi. Probably in case all 3 rooms connect to the internet, it is quite slow and sometimes disconnects. Otherwise no issues.

Very frendly and warm welcome! Spacious comfortable room. Great balcony with a view of the church, street and beautiful lemon trees. Very close to the central street and the sea.

There was nothing not to like! Perhaps for those who like to sleep in: the church bells are quite loud and start at 8 am, but I assume they can be heard all over Manarola.
