Excellent location this home is nestled in the serenity of the wooded landscape on the Frenchman Bay! Close proximity to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. So much to see and do in the area. Baycliff was clean and comfortable with beautiful sunrises! My friends and I so enjoyed staying here!

My family and I had an amazing week at Baycliff. We loved sitting on the back deck and watching the lobster boats and kayakers come by every day. The house was clean and spacious and we love this location on MDI. Thank you for a great week!

This property was perfect. Beautiful location. All the amenities needed to have a great vacation. Very easy to Bar Harbor and Acadia national park. Would recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful stay with easy access to all the sightseeing .

Our family of 4 adults (and our French bulldog) absolutely loved our stay at Baycliff. Kevin was so thoughtful and prompt in his responses to my questions, giving suggestions on where to go (the easiest hikes ;)), etc. We had such an amazing time, as first-timers to Maine and the Bar Harbor area. Morning coffees and evening wine on the deck overlooking Frenchman's Bay capped off fun days spent in Acadia and/or Bar Harbor. As far as 'guided' tours are concerned, we loved the evening 2-hour Happy Hour Nature Cruise and the Premium Bus Tour of Acadia. The Lobster Pound had the best lobster rolls (IMO), and was so close to the house that we went twice :) The house everything that you would ever need.... THANK YOU Kevin for making such a nice property available for all of us 'strangers' to enjoy!

My wife, two daughters and I stayed for a week for our summer vacation as we’re checking off our final few States in our quest for 50. Baycliff was the perfect place to use as our home base as we explored Bar Harbor & Acadia. The house itself was extremely clean, with lots of space, and completely stocked. Communication with Kevin was extraordinary from the time we booked until we checked out. We really enjoyed relaxing on the deck overlooking Frenchman Bay and feeding the resident chipmunk and red squirrel. Overall, it was an amazing trip and I can’t recommend Baycliff enough.

We spent a week at Baycliff and I don't think we could have picked a better location for a family of five with three young adult children and a dog. It was a great place to unwind after hiking Acadia all day. The house is spacious, well appointed, and comfortable. So close to where we wanted to be but just far enough removed to have peaceful afternoons gazing at the bay. Watching seals catch fish was an added bonus. Kevin reached out immediately when we arrived to check if we needed anything but we had no issues or concerns. Couldn't have asked for more. Thank you!

Wow what an amazing week celebrating my daughter’s 30th birthday. Could not have asked for a better place to celebrate. From the views of Frenchman Bay from the two decks and all the amazing windows in the house we always had a great view. Host Kevin was exceptional. Great checking in to make sure everything thing was good. Could not ask for more. The house is stocked and just fantastic. Would definitely recommend. This was our first time in Bar Harbor but will be back. And our girls feeding the chipmunks was a highlight for them. Great week!!

This has to be one of the best houses for a family of 4 - 6. Beautiful views of the Bay, quiet yet so close to Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. We're an active family, so we enjoyed the convenience of a 5 minute drive to the visitor center for morning bike rides past Jordan pond. Another short drive to Bar Harbor for excellent meals, and if you prefer, the stocked kitchen has everything you need and more. They really seemed to think of everything, including hampers in the bedrooms for your dirty clothes and plush towels to dry off after a wonderfully hot and powerful shower. Our only disappointment was the walkway down to the beach seemed to recently be swept away by a storm, so instead we went elsewhere to kayak in the bay at sunset and walk along the shore.

This home was absolutely beautiful! Amazing waterfront views with lobster boats and gorgeous sunrises coming up over Frenchman's Bay. The kitchen was perfectly set up with every item needed to cook meals. The location was great with easy down the street access to Acadia. The host, Kevin, was quick to answer any questions. If I could give this home 10 stars, I would!

The house was located on and provided access to the shore of Frenchman Bay. The views were fantastic from the kitchen, dining room and living room given the almost wall to wall and ceiling to floor windows and sliding glass door. The house was clean from top to bottom and very comfortable. The location was perfect with easy access to the waterfront and shops in Bar Harbor and to Acadia NP. The owner and property manager reached out to let us know they were readily available if needed. It was a great experience.

Baycliff is the perfect spot! So close to downtown and Hulls Cove visitors center for Acadia. Kevin was an amazing host and checked in with us throughout the stay. The house was immaculate and the view of the bay was to die for. Everything we could have needed was there (sheets, towels, TP). Having a first floor bedroom and bathroom was perfect for the grandparents traveling with us. Waking up every morning to that view (and the sunrises!) to have our coffee and breakfast is a luxury I will not forget. If you have the chance to snag this place, do not hesitate! We had a perfect stay.

This was our second time at Baycliff. Such a lovely serene spot. The house is comfortable, clean and well equipped. You can just sit for hours and enjoy the tidal change or easily go into Bar Harbor for shopping and restaurants or head to Acadia for hiking. Don’t miss popovers at Jordan Pond House- it’s a must do!

We had a lovely family vacation at Baycliff. Both Bar Harbor and Acadia are easy and quick to get to, and coming home to the waterfront each afternoon was a pleasure. Thanks Kevin for being a great host and answering all my questions!

Exquisite setting overlooking Frenchman’s Bay with views from deck & rear sliding doors, with a path leading down to the shore. House is full of light. Well-appointed kitchen was a joy to cook in. All beds extremely comfortable & baths with great water pressure & plentiful hot water. Very quiet, surrounded by beautiful trees and other plantings. We ate meals on the deck and reveled in the ever-changing vista of water and sky, watching lobster boats, pleasure craft and seabirds. Short drive to Bar Harbor & Acadia. The house more than met our expectations & was a wonderful home base for our Maine holiday.

We stayed at Baycliff for a week and absolutely loved it. We stayed in the area to enjoy Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Baycliff is a perfect location for both places and has the MOST awesome sunrise views. I would highly recommend staying here. We have nothing but praise for this propery and the area!

We could not be more pleased with our stay at Baycliff. The house is perfectly sited on the shore of Frenchman Bay with both a fine shoreline deck (for afternoon cribbage games) and steps down to explore low tide treasures. The sunrises from the house deck were incredible. The entire house, and especially the kitchen, is very well-appointed with everything we needed (we loved the Nikon binoculars for viewing the birdlife and passing lobster boats). Our gourmet cooks appreciated the the high-end pots, pans, and knives. We hope to return.

Basement smells VERY musty and never improved during stay, we had to move our son to the middle level. Bedding was faded and worn. There were no extra pillows or any blankets. Kitchen needed basic items like tongs and larger spatulas. Bathrooms had mold around glass door enclosures. Outdoor furniture did not allow to dine outside, cocktail size table. Kitchen table was missing a chair. AC is only in some rooms.
Bannister on deck was rickety and we thought unsafe.

Our stay at Baycliff was amazing! We had a slight family emergency a few days before leaving and Kevin was so compassionate and accommodating. The property was beautiful and the house comfortable and extremely well equipped with everything we needed!

Our family had a great time at Briarcliff. The views are amazing. We spent so much time on the deck looking out over the rocky beach and water. The location is perfect since it's only a short drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful view and home. Very close to the water with all the conveniences of a full sized home, including a 220V outlet for our electric car. We enjoyed being near the water and exploring the shore at low tide before and after our visits to the park. This home made the vacation a full 24 hour experience. We hope to stay there again.

We celebrated our shared birthday, our longtime friendship, and the wonders of nature.
This property is outstanding, The main house was charming and filled with all the essentials including a tripod and binoculars, so clean and comfy. We immediately felt at home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this home. Incredible views of Frenchman Bay. Perfect location to downtown Bar Harbor and access to Acadia National Park. The home certainly met our needs for the week. Plenty of room to relax and enjoy the surrounding environment. I look forward to returning for another visit.

Of course the ocean view was as beautiful as advertised, but we were really impressed that all the appliances actually worked. Dishwasher, washer, dryer, stove etc. We also appreciated the numerous hangers that were in all the closets. A wonderful 7 day stay in this property.

A marvelous home with all the amenities one could desire. Fantastic views of Frenchman's Bay, easily accessible beachfront for walking and tidal pool exploring, close to Acadia NP and Bar Harbor, but in a quiet, relaxing neighborhood. We chose Baycliff for our 40th anniversary getaway and enjoyed every minute of our time there. You won't regret a stay at Baycliff, we highly recommend it!

Kevin was great with communications, etc. The house was perfect for us, two retired couples. Awesome place to spend a few hours just enjoying the views at breakfast, lunch, or happy hour! We kayaked over to the "ovens" at high tide a few times, another bonus! Great location, I'd come here again. Pete.

We enjoyed our stay. The house is nicely appointed. It has beautiful scenic views of the bay in a quiet woodsy location. Easy drive into downtown and Acadia National Park.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The property is right on the water. Incredibly beautiful views. I went swimming every day (water was great but a bit on the colder side). A bald eagle came and landed in the trees by the house and ate his lunch (a fish). Not far from Bar Harbor and close to Acadia national part visitors center.

Wonderful stay and property was nice and comfortable. The view is amazing, and you can walk on the rocky beach during low tide and explore with the kids. Would stay here again.

This is a wonderful house. Comfortable and well equipped. But the showstopper is the extraordinary view from the back deck--every time of day, every type of weather and it nearly always is in the shade. We saw seals, porpoises, myriad bird life. And a nice staircase takes you directly to a wonderful beach waiting to be combed. Communication with Kevin was prompt and clear. We shall return.
