A lovely residence with a beautiful sea view in a quiet area. Clean, spacious, modern and well planned apartment. Would recommend a car since the buses are scarce and often full (at least high season). The hosts are super friendly and helpful!! We look forward to the next visit!

Difficult to move around only relying on the bus service (high season).

The property location was ideal for our family with excellent facilities and stunning views over the ocean. Furore is approx 7KM from Amalfi town, so transport is essential, however the local Sita bus service was somewhat unreliable. Leo, the host however, was always at hand, nothing was too much trouble and he was always available to help with transporting us to Amalfi, where you can utilise the superb ferry service to all areas of the Amalfi coast. The Zaffiro apartment at Residence Calipso is exceptional when it comes to cleanliness and facilities. The beds are comfortable and the location is quiet, so a good nights sleep is assurred. Believe me you need it after all the walking and exploring of this stunning coast! You can sit on the wonderful shared terrace and enjoy a Limoncello Spritz cocktail, made with the lovely bottle of prosecco gifted to us by Leo and Ida; we also enjoyed a few lemons from Leo's tree in his garden and made a superb lemon pasta dish for dinner! We used Residence Calipso as a lovely base from which to explore the Amalfi coast with trips to Capri, Positano, Atrani, Ravello, the Path of the Gods and Pompeii. It was always nice to get back to the comfort of our apartment and relax on the balcony or terrace.

The local public transport was appalling. Make sure you arrange your transport to Amalfi, and you are set to enjoy your stay at the Residence Calipso.

Scenery outstanding. The friendly owner didn't speak English at all.

The first couple of nights could. No preheating. Coffee maker takes time to filter. Could use some more pottery and cutlery. No glasses for prosecco. No sockets beside bed.

The apartment was beautiful and the view from the terrace was amazing. Leopoldo and his family was really helpful in everything. We would really recommend this place!

You need to rent a car or scoorer to get around Amalfi

Wonderful apartment with an amazing view from the terrace; very spacious and well equipped, perfect for a family of 4. Watching the sunset from the balcony with a glass of wine was marvelous!😊 The hosts were very communicative and friendly.

The place is quite isolated; you need to walk along a busy road to reach a shop or a restaurant.
