Waren bereits zum zweiten Mal hier. Das Zimmer war erneut "sehr gut", vorhin hatten wir aber ein anderes, das besser gelegen war..🤔 Das Bett war aber gewohnt super bequem, Zimmer & Bad sauber und gepflegt. Hotelparkplatz (offen + Tiefgarage, leider mit Aufpreis) ist für Autoreisende absolut ein MUSS, mangels frei verfügbarer Parkplatze in der Nähe! Für die Anfahrt zum Hotel wird das Befolgen der Wegbeschreibung, die vom Hotel per Email zugesandt wird, dringend empfohlen!

Terrible approach to the hotel. Traveler must be informed how to approach to the hotel at the time of booking. Google and car navigation is not working due to the road which is only available for residence. Finally we found that hotel residence can use the road.

The hotel was impeccably clean. We could have the door to the terrasse open all night without any insects coming in. The surroundings are fantastic.

No breakfast included. I was angry and insecure when arriving at the hotel as we could not get into the building and no-one was available to greet us. After a few minutes the matter was resolved but the situation should not have occurred.

We had to park our car a long way from the hotel or face paying a high premium for parking which only had availability for 4 cars (none left upon our arrival). We arrived for the weekend where parking is highly restricted on the streets.

The staff were so kind and helpful. The room itself was cozy and comfortable with lots of outdoor light and the location is unbeatable -tucked far enough away from the busy sounds yet close enough to everything you need.

The morning breakfast was lacking with only coffee, toast, plain yogurt, small selection of fruit, meat and cheese.

Great directions to find the hotel. Staff spoke English, a huge reassurance for non Spanish speakers. Spotlessly clean in a super little town.

A thin duvet only, so a bit cold. (Note: I am a nesh old thing and I didn't ask for additional covers).

The hotel is very conveniently located at the beginning of a truly amazing hiking route which goes from Zumaia to Deba and just over the famous Zumaia beach. It is very bright and cosy, with amazing views. The staff was extremely helpful (they changed my room when I asked for a change) and welcoming. They explained me where to go for dinner, where to go bathing (the nearest beach was rather for surfers), and even helped me to plan a train journey to my next destination.

Room 16 which I initially had was giving to the main entrance and the road and was very loud in the evenings. But the staff was super helpful and they changed it the next night.

We were touring Spain so stayed in quite a few hotels - this was the only one with a balcony and it felt such a treat. Lovely to sit with a drink and relax. gGreat size room and bathroom. Big bed. Clean and modern. Car parking facilities under hotel. Easy to walk to the beach. Lift just behind the hotel so you don’t have to climb the hill to get to/from centre. Caroline (or Christina? sorry!) on reception was absolutely brilliant. So helpful, recommending restaurants etc. Also, she let us have breakfast despite us being late.
