La ubicación es adecuada, se podria mejorar un poco la zona del rio. El clima es agradable y cerca a sitios turisticos

está ubicado a 8 min en coche de salento. La zona es tranquila y la comunicación con el host fue fluida
por la fecha donde fuimos nos toco pagar algo de sobreprecio. Estaba caro para lo que era. La habitación donde estuvimos no tiene vistas, solo antes de entrar. La ducha debe de repararse. Fue reiterativo el host en cuanto al pago. Tenía miedo que se le cancele a último momento.

We had a wonderful weekend here. The cabin is nice, specious and clean. The roof didn't leak a droplet even when it rained very hard (I had other experiences in other places...). The shower is hot. The owner is friendly and was flexible with check-in & check-out, helping us quite a lot.

The location of Claro de Luna is great - a beautiful garden just by the river, frequently visited by colibras and other birds. Perfect to relax after a long day of trekking. The cabin is simple but clean and comfortable. Water in the shower was hot enough, Wi-Fi was ok. And the lady who owns the place is so kind and helpful! She was quick to answer every question and checked on us frequently.

Beautiful cabin a 10 minute bus ride from Salento. The location is super nice, quiet, and tranquil yet close enough to the town of Salento for day activities. The host is super nice. Cleaning service provided for free and laundry can be done for a reasonable price. We stayed for a week and loved it.

- nature around the hostel
- the nights in Salento are extremely cold. There were only the cheap thin blankets provided, made of polyester so it was extremely cold at night. I stayed in other hostels in Salento later on and the other hostels provided warm woolen blankets as they were aware of the low temperature at night; no heating in the room,
- the huts are located very close to each other and the neighbor was very loud
- overpriced

Beautiful cabana with small private terrace and even a basic kitchen with fridge. Possible to park right in front of the doors. They have lovely pets, cats and dogs. Host was very welcoming and helpful.
Might be a bit difficult to access without a car.

This place was beautiful and Gloria was absolutely amazing, nice and sweet.
I don't remember the last team I slept so nice like in this cottage near the river. Beautiful and big cottage, with restroom and kitchen, gril.
The location is very good. In nature, and bus stops just five minutes walking, every 20 min to downtown. ( $0.25 one way ).
I definitely recommend this place.

Gloria was one of the most helpful and attentive hosts I’ve met. The place is really nice, it has everything you need, and if it’s not there, for sure Gloria will find a way to help you out. It’s a great place to relax and hear/experience nature, and good getaway from the city.
Bear in mind this is not in Salento, but if you go by car, the town is about 15 mins drive. For us, this worked perfectly and was not an issue, was exactly what we were looking for. The road to get to Claro de Luna isn’t paved, our car was small and despite the heavy rain we managed to get around just well, however, you do have to be careful driving so your car doesn’t get damaged.
Conclusion, great value for money and great experience.
This is an issue I’ve always come across while traveling, so I wouldn’t give it so much thought, but the hot water in the shower wasn’t very reliable as it was through an electrical shower.

It was place not for rainy season. Rain ruined partially all advantage of being in beautiful garden.
