Lovely Folly Beach Home Just Steps to the Beach!

Our grandson’s, ages 7 and 4, rated our vacation as BEST vacation EVER! All of the adults confirmed it was a fabulous stay in Folly Beach, and much of the reason was because of staying at George and Aylin’s beach house! The house provided everything we needed, and more. All the little extras went above and beyond most of the other places we have rented from in the past.
There were many pluses, but here are just a few that made our week truly fabulous.
Location to the beach! This was vital for our family because of the grandchildren. Taking them, and all their stuff was a breeze, and if anyone had to get back to the house quickly, it was one short block away.
Beach toys, boogie boards, umbrellas, beach chairs, all available for our use! No extra costs having to rent, or purchase these items! We flew from Dallas, so not having to worry about getting all that stuff once we arrived was awesome.
Bicycles, both for adults, and children. ( including locks, and helmets! )
The golf cart we were able to rent for the week.
Screened in porch, with a nice large table to enjoy meals, and game playing.
Enough space, and comfort for all 6 of the adults, and 2 very active grandsons!
I could go on and on, but will finish this review by saying we booked for next year, before we even headed back home.

Great house and great location! Quick walk to the beach. My family and I enjoyed this house!! So many porches to sit out on that made the house feel very spacious. Definitely recommend!!

We had an amazing stay! The house was great- tons of beautiful outdoor space, clean and full of light, well stocked with things you might need for your stay, and great layout to accommodate a large group. Its only a short block to the beach access- you can see the path from the front door- and its only a 10 minute walk to the main street on Folly with tons of restaurants, the pier, etc. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and responded very quickly. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely home! Very nice and spacious. There are nice screened and unscreened balconies and decks for every room and level. The house is well-stocked with amenities and supplies. Very near to the beach…approx 5 minute, easy walk. Very near the commercial strip…about 4 blocks, straight, flat walk. We took our little dog, and he loved the fenced back yard. The owners were very attentive and nice! We plan to return!

Had the whole family up for the weekend. Couldn’t have asked for a better place and the additional items such as dog crate, golf cart, French press, etc were above and beyond most VRBO’s I’ve stayed in

Our visit was wonderful!! No unpleasant surprises, only much better than expected. The living area was spacious, the bedrooms were very nice size with comfortable beds!! Many special touches by owner made the stay even better. Many decks, lovely screened in porch and the backyard was spacious. Only regret was that we were not staying longer. Owners are great to work with. Thank you.

Lots of spaces to enjoy your own time and family time. Very comfortable beds. Enjoyed every part of the home. Clean and stocked and a nice welcome treat. Owners were excellent in answering questions and even willing to bring a lightbulb when needed. We did not let them do that, just so they knew for the next group. One quick block from beach and short walk to Center street!

The hosts were excellent communicators who promptly responded to any questions regarding the listing or our stay. The home was beautifully decorated and was equipped with everything you could ever want or need. Spacious bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds. Short walk to the beach, DT Folly Beach, restaurants and shops. Would highly recommend!

House had everything & more we could need. George was promptly available to help us w any issues/needs we had. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen fully stocked, golf cart was a bonus & a must for our next rental!! Screened in porch was ideal! Convenient short walk to beach access & surplus of beach gear included was clutch!! We would love to return next year!!!

Our family had a wonderful time at this lovely home. We have stayed at about 20 houses or condos in Folly Beach and this is our new favorite. The hosts were very easy to communicate with. Absolutely no complaints!

Our stay was amazing! The communication, accommodations, and location were all fantastic. All questions were quickly answered and the house was stocked with everything we needed. Loved being so close to the beach. Our family also loved the outdoor spaces....especially the back screened-in porch! Can't beat this vacation home!

We absolutely loved our stay at this home. The place was even more beautiful than pictured. Everything was very organized and accessible. Loved using the bikes and the beach equipment too. There was a leak under the sink while we were there and George was quick to come and address while we were at the beach. The beach was only 3 minutes away. So easy to run back to the house for lunch or to grab something we needed. We will definitely stay here again. George and Aylin have done it well.

This home was the perfect beach getaway! It was definitely one of the nicest vacation rentals we have ever had. The home was super well organized and came with a ton of different amenities, making our own travel much easier! The owners have done an amazing job of thinking through everything a traveling family could possibly need. The house was also in a great location - just a short 3 minute walk to the beach and a quick 10 minute walk to the shops/restaurants.
The owners were super responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay as smooth as possible. They even offered to set up a full size crib for us before arrival! We rented the golf cart from the owners and loved the convenience it provided us in getting around the island
We would definitely stay here again!!

This is a perfect house for a family vacation in a great location in Folly. It's a short walk to the beach and 1/2 mile to town. The house itself was super clean and had great signage letting us know where things were located. We especially loved the comfortable screened in porch in the trees - so relaxing!

We had a wonderful time at Folly Beach, and the house worked out perfectly for us. It is only 1 block off of the beach. Almost everything that you would need was provided by the owners, and the communication with the owners was top notch. Cannot recommend enough!

This was one of the best airbnb’s we have ever stayed in as a family.
The house was beautiful and spacious. It was so well supplied and we lacked for nothing. They even supplied and set up a full size crib which was greatly appreciated by the Mom and Dad.
The location was perfect for walking to the beach and town. We loved that you could rent the 6 person golf cart right through the hosts. It made it so convenient.

We have stayed at many properties over the years and this one by far was one of the very best. The location can’t be beat — a very short walk to the beach and convenient to shops and restaurants. The house itself is fantastic — tastefully decorated, extremely well appointed with all you could need while away (high chair, crib, beach gear, toiletries, access to streaming services, you name it) and absolutely loved all of the outdoor spaces. We definitely plan to return! Thank you for having us!

Great location! Close to the beach and downtown. The house was very comfortable and spacious for our group of 8. The porches were amazing - so nice to have a comfortable indoor and outdoor space. We would definitely stay here again.

We were in town for the weekend to watch our daughter run the Charleston half marathon and decided to stay in Folly. The house was perfect. George & Aylin’s attention to detail made this stay awesome. We had everything we needed plus more! We will definitely recommend the home and would stay again if the opportunity arises.

George and Aylin were such amazing hosts! The house was warm and welcoming. My family (6 adults, 2 kids and one small dog) stayed over the Christmas holiday. They had a Christmas tree and wreath at the front door.
The house is very clean and organized. We appreciated all the labeling in the kitchen and fan/light switches. The fridge has a water and ice dispenser.
The house has an XL dog crate provided.
We enjoyed using the tv apps (already logged in, provided by host) which were easy to navigate. The bedrooms and kitchen had wireless charging pads for your phones. The internet was great- my husband was able to work seamlessly.
The front steps have non skid strips and was free of leaves when we arrived. There are motion detector lights outside.
The grill was clean and convenient to use.
The kids enjoyed the platform swing in the front yard.
Floor plan wise (for those family/friend dynamics)- the room with the 2 double beds has an en suite bathroom with stand up shower. Across the hall is a bedroom with a queen bed. Across the catwalk is a bedroom with a queen bed and unattached bathroom w/ jetted tub. The half bath and the large master suite with bathroom and walk in closet are downstairs. The beds were comfortable and water pressure great!
The beach was a short walk away. You can hear the waves from the house.
George and Aylin thought of everything and provided so much. They were just a quick text away if you needed anything!

This house was absolutely perfect. When searing for a rental for our winter beach trip I looked at a lot of places. This house stood out with all the extras the owners provided. This was our first trip with a 20 month old child and was relived not to pack everything our kid needs. Beach toys, great children's books (the rainbow one was a hit), high chair, kid friendly plates & silverware! and all the other kid stuff listed but we did not use. One previous review mentioned how they put the crib in the master closet bc it was so big. We did something similar and worked perfectly. The fireplace was a really sweet treat at night watching Hulu. Location was great with a stroller ride to town and the park a couple doors down. Our daughter learned she could see the beach access from the front door and VERY excited to point that out. House was wonderfully decorated (even a Christmas tree and wreath!) comfy warm beds, great water pressure for showers, kitchen was wonderfully stocked and labeled. So it was easy to find items. All in all a fantastic home and would love to stay at again. Oh yeah super dog friendly with large dog cage, bowls, fenced in yard, and extra poop bags came in handy. Thank you so much everything!

The house was a wonderful place to spend a week with family at the beach. The owners graciously prepared the house as if we were their personal guests. Everything was so organized and the kitchen very well stocked. The house was very roomy and had four beautiful outdoor areas. The beach was two short blocks away. All the restaurants were .5 miles away. And the charms of Charleston is a short drive away. A perfect place to stay!

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. George and Aylin made sure everything was perfect before, during, and after our stay. Like anything, something always comes up, and they were quick to help in any way. We left something in the place after our stay, and they offered to ship it back to us at no charge. If we need a place in Folly Beach in the future, this is the winner. I have no reservations recommending like place to all my friends and family. Thanks again George and Aylin!

My family and I rented this house leading up to my wedding in Charleston. Location was perfect - block away from the beach and short walk to town. The house is well equipped with anything you would need during your stay and was very clean. We had the best time and hope to be back in the future!

Owners thought of everything. House was perfect for our family of ten, rooms were perfect size and laid out well. Everything you would need was there and all located just a block from the beach.

We've stayed at several other summer homes but the detail put into this home deserves 10 stars. George, the owner, exhibits pride in ownership and extreme respect for his visitors. Upon entering the kitchen, a gift basket with our name on it it was a pleasant surprise. The location is a 5 minute walk to the beach. The home is spacious with a lot of thought put into little detail. The beds are extremely comfy and the linens feel fresh and cozy. The decks from the bedroom are fairly large and don't forget to use the Weber grill. The kitchen is large and has everything you can imagine that you'd have at your own home. The living room is bright and spacious with a large assortment of games to play and even books including Roger Tory Peterson's Guide to Birds.. Under the house are several bicycles for all ages and everything you need to enjoy your day at the beach: chairs, umbrellas, kids toys and even a cart to load your carry things to the beach. I feel that George is constantly looking to do things that improve the home that make the stay more attractive and enjoyable. I call that a "perfectionist".
I feel you will love it here as we did.
