I had the impression from photos that it was in the country; in fact it’s in a neighborhood with houses very near by.

Parking front of the entrance door was great.
In the appartment, the bathroom, was too small.
No dishwasher.

Very comfortable and neat chalet that exceeded my expectations. We all enjoyed it very much. The landlord is hospitable. She helped us out when we had a problem in entering the house, also prepared us with a very nice bottle of red wine.
Both rooms were cozy, heated and the temperature was perfect.
ps It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the city center, but the views along the way are great.

Amazing position a short walk from the town centre.
A beautiful chalet, clean and very comfy beds. There was even a complimentary bottle of wine, but as we were on a bike trip with an early start the next day up into the mountains, we had to leave this...
The owner was very friendly and helpful so we could even leave the bikes just outside the front door...
Very quite (till we started our engines in the morning that is. But I don't think we disturbed anyone, as we were quickly on our way) and relaxing.
I really do recommend here, with just a short 10min walk into town, you really cannot go wrong!!!

The location is great, very peaceful and a lovely 20 min stroll into Chamonix centre. The apartment is small but was very well equipped and the beds were comfortable. Lots of hot water.
Written instructions would have been helpful (how the heating works, how the TV works, how recycling works). The heating is controlled remotely by the owner, not the guest, which meant it was a bit cold the first night. This was resolved the next night.

The owner of the apartment was very available and friendly. The place is very quiet and close to all the tracks. Amazing view from terrace. Thank you Joanna! We enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!
There was no washing machine.
