the location,, the quiet environment

Very good value for money. It has exceeded my expectations. Well maintained, mostly clean, huge rooms, equipped kitchen, awesome swimming pool with side barriers to protect against the wind.... It has everything you need. Definitely, I'd really repeat again!

The pool and the large size room for 2 people

The view is lovely and the pub across the road is very welcoming and friendly. The owner of the property however lied straight to my face regarding the location and then continued to lie again to try and cover up her lie.

The location is listed on booking.com is basically not true. I chose this location based on the fact it said 5km from Valenca. The location is in fact almost double that. This cost me an additional fee in taxi costs and a lot of time the next day when hiking back to town. When I asked the owner about the 5km she continued to insist that the town was 5km away ( this is most likely some kind of municipal boundary ) . When I then asked her about the train station she insisted this was an additional 3 km as opposed to the actual 300 m from the centre of town. Also The WiFi does not work properly which resulted in problems for me driveling projects for my job as a digital nomad. I also incurred a wound on the top of my head from the entrance to the bathroom that had no warning signs and was extremely low. The staff were polite but the owner’s decision to lie to my face is just tragic and ruined my stay and my travel plans and the WiFi caused me issues with my job. There should be accurate j formation displayed regarding this property so people can make an honest and informed choice.

Very spacious for a small family, with a lovely swimming pool and views from the front. We enjoyed our stay here and would be happy to return if in the area. Some of the communal facilities were closed due to the health crisis, however we felt that the hygiene provision was very good.
