Alcuni anni fa un appartamento con 4 camere da letto e 3 bagni ha deciso che avere una fantastica posizione a Sugar Mountain non era abbastanza buono. Sapeva che doveva essere più di così si trasformava nella cosa più vicina a una cabina che poteva diventare. Al T & G sui soffitti alti, ai legni duri sotto i tuoi piedi, ti senti un po 'come se fossi in montagna nella grande unità Glen. Le aree soggiorno, cucina e sala da pranzo sono tutte aperte - la cucina dello chef ristrutturato è un'estremità e il vero camino in pietra è sull'altro lato. C'è anche un ponte che si affaccia sui rododendri in basso. La struttura dispone di un re nella camera da letto principale al piano di sopra, così come una seconda camera con 2 letti singoli. C'è una regina nella terza camera da letto al piano principale e una quarta camera da letto al piano principale con 2 gemelli pure.

Sugar Mountain Resort è a pochi minuti da questo condominio, dove troverete una pista di pattinaggio all'aperto, snow tubing, escursioni in mountain bike e un campo da golf completo. Ci sono molti ristoranti nelle vicinanze, tra cui Elevations Restaurant e Reid's Cafe. Anche la visita è abbondante in questa zona, come l'Apple Hill Alpaca Farm, il Mile High Swinging Bridge e la Foggy Mountain Gem Mine.

The place was ok. It was older but clean. The parking is terrible. There are more units than parking spots and the alternative parking lots are all closed and a half mile walk up hill from the unit. Also the air conditioner didn't work the entire time of our stay. Vacasa sent someone out to check on the unit but all he did was turn the breaker off and call an HVAC company. They did bring us 4 fans for the bedrooms but it was still miserable during the day. I understand things happen but someone should have noticed the AC not cooling before 8 people show up in June.

Before we got there, it was hard to tell if we would be able to walk with skis on our shoulders over to the slopes. We did end up driving over, but it was a very short drive. We had a great time and were amazed by how spacious the Condo was. Everything was great.

We loved this location. It was easy to walk to sugar especially since we would drop a car with our gear off in the morning and walk back. The condo was also very nice inside.

The cabin is super good and in a good location. The entertainment nearby is very good, tubing, skiing and the roller coaster. My only disappointment was with vacasa, they never cleaned the cabin and at 8 at night they only told me to wash the bedding so I could sleep and even the towels. They never asked if I needed anything again and my stay was one week. While on vacation I had to clean and wash a lot.

We loved it here! There were 7 adults on our trip and we had plenty of room. Very clean, well stocked kitchen. We chose to drive to the slopes, mainly because of equipment. (We rented from Highland House ski rental that was about 5 min away. They were significantly cheaper than the resort) Short walk from the condo to the slopes on the main road. Parking is a little tight for larger vehicles, but it was not too bad for us because it was not that busy. We definitely recommend staying here!

We enjoyed the convenience of the location and what was available within a few miles. The inside was clean with everything we needed. Sitting on the porch hearing the creek run below was great at night too! Thanks!

This was a perfect place for our parents and us to stay for our son’s graduation ceremony at Appalachian State. It was ver clean, great room configuration and lots of personality. Highly recommend!!

Loved the location of this condo! It worked great for our two family group each with two kids. We could walk to the slopes and come home for lunch. The condo could use some updating and better kitchen utensils. It looks a little tired. One parking spot was provided which made it a challenge for our two families but we figured it out. There should definitely be two spots. Like I said the place was a little tired and could use a refresh but the location was key. Probably won’t go back to sugar though cause of their 1980s style of running a ski slope. Can’t buy anything ahead of time and had to wait for hours for ski school or lift tickets or equipment. Come into the 2000s Sugar Mountain!

Nice, quiet location within easy walking distance to golf and tennis and a short drive to restaurants and a grocery store
A very clean, well maintained unit with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. I especially enjoyed morning coffee on the deck listening to the creek and watching the hummingbirds and butterflies around to the flowers.

We enjoyed our stay for a few days. Very clean and accommodating! Very convenient being so close to the ski resort.

We have stayed here several times over the past 10 years. The location is great with being able to walk to the slopes. It is a nice condo, big enough for our group of 8. They leave you starter supplies( dish soap, dishwasher tabs, trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels), and for the 2 days we were here it was enough for us. It does have the need for attention to some details (repairs, more silverware, shutters in the bedroom upstairs), but we would stay here again.

The cabin was perfect for our group of eight. Very comfortable, close to sugar mountain lodge and well kept.

Our family has stayed on Sugar Mountain for the last 20 years. We come to enjoy the leaves changing and later to snow ski. This condo is the perfect location for both and the interior of the condo feels like a winter cabin get-away. I would recommend to condo to our friends.

Our only suggestion to improve condo is the upstairs bedroom has a large opening which looks down on the living room and therefore it is noisy for the people sleeping in that room. A solution would be to add a closure like a bifold door over the opening. Otherwise we had an excellent stay.
