Besides that it is very clean, appliances new and all working, beds comfortable, directions for arrival and departure all laid out and clearly understandable.

Home has great Mountain View’s, and a nice living area. Master shower was a little dirty on arrival and guest bathroom door was beginning to come off the hinges, making it extremely difficult to open/close. Otherwise great spot for a mountain weekend.

The location was great for sugar mountain but the condo left a lot to be desired. The bed in the master was so uncomfortable, lumpy and hard, felt like it was very old. The guest bathroom door was broken off the hinge preventing it from closing, we notified as soon as we got into the unit. Communication with vacasa with odd and they didn’t address the issues except for telling us they would take note of it. The unit was very bare bones. We were only there for one night. I would not have stayed for additional nights.

We have stayed at this property multiple times, and it is a wonderful place. Amazing views, very spacious, everything you need is provided, excellent location so close to Beach Mountain, Sugar, Mountain, grandfather mountain, Highlands we can’t wait to stay here again.! oh, did I mention the views are to die for.

We loved everything about this condo. The views were incredible. The balcony off the living room and master bedroom was our most favorite part of the condo. We spent lots of time reading and just sitting on the balcony. Perfect location to access lots of hiking and waterfalls beyond Sugar Mountain. Very spacious, great fully stocked kitchen, and we appreciated the washer and dryer with complimentary detergent. Quiet & peaceful, could hear the birds from the balcony. Owner above has a hummingbird feeder so we saw lots of hummingbirds. Many people come for the skiing, but I think June is an amazing time to come. Less crowded, lush, green, and flowers blooming.

We recently stayed in this unit atop Sugar Mountain. Beautiful condo, Beautiful Views, Great price. However the refrigerator in our unit was not working. We purchased all the food we needed for the stay on the way in before check-in.
It was cold out and the room was cold so really didn’t think anything of it when we piled the groceries into the freezer & Fridge. Well when we woke up the next day, everything in the fridge and freezer was spoiled. I have sent MANY text messages, emails and phone calls and I have literally gotten ZERO response. Worst management company ever. STAY AWAY no matter how nice the place may look on line!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

The condo was perfect for our weekend getaway. Beautiful views and spacious. Only feedback of improvement to the owner would be to invest in a new mattress for the 2nd bedroom. It was incredibly uncomfortable and warn.

Back deck with fantastic views of Grandfather Mountain. Soaking in the jet tub after hiking Rough Ridge and Linville Falls was relaxing. Perfect kitchen. Fresh towels, comfy beds. Warm gas fireplace 🤩

Title says it all, we will definitely stay here again. The sunrises on the deck are stunning.
Only thing is more clarity on hot water in shower, was not obvious how to figure out how to turn it on. I think they will do better explanation in the future, so don’t sweat this! Otherwise perfect spot!

We rented this condo for my birthday get-a-way. The listing clearly states it is "First floor" unit. We drive 4.5 hours and pull up to find that the unit is not ground level, you enter and park on the second level, and this unit is downstairs, down a steep outdoor staircase. My husband is disabled and can not do the stairs, we messaged multiple times and left text/call/emails with no answer. We ended up sitting in the parking lot waiting, to no avail, no response, so we drove to a local hotel and stayed there. We still, to this day, almost three weeks later, have not heard back from the owner (Vacasa got back to us and said they are waiting to hear back too) so I had to appeal the charge with my credit card. Absolute awful stay, and a ruined birthday. Hubby was so upset as well.

Check in was a breeze with a timely email from Vacasa that told us everything we needed. The property itself is a nice spacious two bedroom. The floors look brand new and will work well with wet ski clothes. Personally, I’d like to see an area rug in front of the tv to soften the room. The view is beautiful except for the well known eyesore Sugartop condos. I’d like not to look at that but just look away from it to see the beautiful mountains in the distance. Be prepared to spend some time driving up or down the steep curvy road. This isn’t a complaint. This is a ski resort after all. Just be aware you’re not going to pop out to the store; it takes 10 minutes to get back to the highway.

Good but needs work
Condo needs carpets cleaned, shower handle tightened , loose tiles sitting in floor repaired entering into the kitchen and master bathroom, fireplace has gas control box just sitting with wires exposed outside on the stone harth! Remote for fireplaces does not work .
Ice maker on refrigerator does not work( they did have ice trays ) Place needs a tuneup- I have stayed at other condos in the reserve that were a lot nicer for less money - a few repairs and this one would be worth the money

Beautiful view but management leaves a lot to be desired
We have stayed in this unit for 3 years because we enjoy the Mountain View and despite the need for rug cleaning. We always book for at least two months. In fact, we are still here now but Vacasa is treating us as if we have checked out after one month although we still have another month to go. They have given us all new check in instructions including a new entry code to the condo, and we could have been locked out! Very unprofessional. Nice place otherwise but could use some updating improvements

Great mountain place!
The condo was so clean and well appointed. The kitchen had all the tools and dishes we needed. The fireplace was cozy and kept the main room so warm. There's a great view of the mountains and it's just a 15 minute drive to the Sugar Resort slopes. We will definitely stay here again!

Fabulous View
We really enjoyed our stay. We like a nice view and we got to experience the beauty of that view on some perfectly clear days and the eeriness of it on a cool, foggy, windy day. There are a couple of suggestions we'd like to make. Though sufficient for our needs on this trip, we wouldn't classify the kitchen as gourmet, very adequate, but not gourmet. Also, the carpet near the kitchen and in the dining area could use a cleaning. With that said, neither of these things deterred us from enjoying our stay atop Sugar Mountain.

Not worth the money
It was a nice location, but the beds with only a full size and king. We were expecting a queen and king bed. The carpet was stained up and looked bad. I probably wouldn’t stay in this condo again for what we paid or it.

You can see the swinging bridge from the balcony. The deck is perfect for taking it all in.
