I was attached by bedbugs late at night but stayed till the morning because there was no choice. I asked for the full refund, but booking only returned about 20 %, saying it should be the property that should refund in full, but the property did not respond. There was even a little decoration of what appeared to be a bed bug in the room, which is a disgusting joke.

The ferry is very close, and there are nice restaurants and bakerys nearby.

There is no elevator, so you have to climb up to the fifth floor, the A/C was super loud but very week, and couldn't be operated with the windows closed, but then the street was really loud. The fan was constantly squeeking. We could barely sleep a minute because of the heat and noise. The bathroom was really small, and not enough for the amount of people who use it, and so it was far from clean. The Wifi was not working, probably the password is wrong.

The owner is a smoker and this is more like a boarding house with several rooms rented in a house with one shared bathroom

5th floor, no lift. The bed (matrac and pillows) stinks of nicotine. Four condominiums + the owner share the bathroom which is full of private items of the owner. Car parking is impossible nearby. A noisy area with lots of night activities.

Ideal location by the port for a late arrival off the ferry, close to shops and services. Directions and access very well explained. Gilbert gave us a warm welcome and a lovely breakfast. Hot shower, comfy bed and cool decor!

Very nice interior, and a warm welcome from Gilbert, very friendly and caring host. Felt like home! And for us it was perfect because it was close to the ferry we took early in the morning.

When arriving, we had problems finding a place to park our car. In the end we found a free one about 500 m away from the house, which was okay.

Gilbert went out of his way to be helpful. He really made my mom and I feel at home. I would definitely recommend staying there.

Room was much smaller than advertised. Bathroom is shared between 3 parties and the owner. Breakfast was below average.

Breakfast with buffet? No, absolutely. One croissant, a (fake) coffe, one glass od orange jiuce and a glass of milk. Stop..Buffet is actuallu another thing...Another point: unfortunately just one (very small) toilette for lot of people....

The host is friendly and also provides a breakfast.

The airconditioning is quite loud, the bathroom is quite small. The bed is ok, but during my stay I woke up halfway the night finding some bugs on my body. It were only like 4 or 5 and so no bedbugs, but maybe just some bugs due to the heat or a previous guest. The owner told me he would take care of this.

The location was amazing, Gilbert was a super friendly host and the room was clean and cozy.

Gilbert is the consummate host. He welcomes guests into his home and makes you feel at home yourself. The apartment is brightly painted and the room I had (Porto) is huge. The location of Bastia Rooms is excellent. The ferry terminal, train station, buses, and Bastia's charming sites and eating establishments are all easy walking distance.

I have no complaints, but if you are taller than average or wider than average, you might find the bathroom and toilet space a little tight! Also, be warned, there's no lifts and it's five stories up!

Its an Air BNB style location. Gilbert the owner provides good communication and easy access to premises even when he is not there. Good location near bus station, ferry port, train station & tourist office. Only a 10 minute walk to the vieuw port and market square. Very low price reflect the property status. Breakfast is provided but I had to leave early so I missed it.

Its on the 5th floor of an old apartment block, difficult if you have luggage. Shared bathroom, very small room and bed.

Very clean, nice and comfy room. Near the port and in city center. You also get delicious pain au chocolat in the morning! Definitely recommend for everyone who needs a stay in Bastia City for some nights.
