Fantastic location, superb pool.
Rooms a little dated, but good value for money.

Location
Everything. The room was filthy. Couldn’t use the shower as it was putrid. Curtains mouldy walls dirty furniture falling apart. Cupboard doors off their hinges. Entire room smelt like urine. Worst hotel experience ever. Only stayed one night out of five night booking balecause it was so bad. Not fit for human habitation.

Dirty water in the bathroom, air conditioning leaking it was fixed the day before we left. Dirty crockery in the restaurant, not washed by the looks, had sugar or were just dirty in the bottom of the cups and this was every morning, we were there for a week.

It was close to the beach
The room was clean, however the areas around the hotel lobby and corridors were tired and piles of rubbish in courtyard areas leading to rooms. Looked as if there had been nothing done to this old hotel since it was built. We were in a room that was supposed to have ocean view but no views of ocean due to restaurants in font of hotel. Our balcony tiles exploded whilst we were there and when reported they came and covered them with a towel and said they’d fix the next day. Droves of high school kids on a tour of the property everyday and beach sunlounger taken over by them. There was a party taking place whilst we were there and constant PA checks and rehearsals all day in the restaurant and on the beach with loud music.

Booked this hotel for parents who went pre covid. It's obviously still recovering as there is a lot of upgrades needed to be done.
Toilet didn't work properly needs maintenance.
Air conditioner dripping. Reported still needs maintenance.
No cereal selection at first did mention and then they supplied.
No a huge selection and was cold.
Paid for upgrade to have a ground floor room. Wouldn't call it an upgrade, can't climb stairs so didn't have a choice
This WAS my favourite hotel pre pandemic. Needs lots of work to bring it back.
STAFF BRILLIANT ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP

The hotel is in the perfect location for Sanur and is very traditional ( which we like)
The staff are so accommodating and friendly- it was a home from home for 10 nights.
Pretty pool and well attended too.
Slightly aged and the bathroom could have been a little cleaner.

Pool,breakfast
Did not like adjoining room with crying babies and noisy people.Rooms very run down needed upgrading. 2 double beds in one room took up all the room. Bathroom very old shower over bath not suitable for over 80s very dangerous.

Not great
The staff on arrived were quite rude! We booked to utilise the room only whilst waiting for our plane after arriving from Lembongan and I was extremely unwell with Bali belly. A bed for me while my family continued their day. We had friends with us who were not wanting to use the room, just store bags with me while I was in bed. The older lady was so rude.

So relaxing and great location would definitely stay again. Great pool with tables for drinks in the pool. It is an older style hotel so you need to expect things won’t be perfect.
Cant think of anything

pillows, mattress, very old room

Location, location, location, great view from our balcony and the staff are lovely
Although our room 206 was a great size with comfortable bed and a lovely balcony, the built-ins were falling apart, the water pressure was poor and the breakfast was terrible. As we left we could see that there was work going on, so fingers crossed the rooms are getting an update.

It is very close to everything - that is great - but the property is old and in need of a renovation

Location and friendly staff
poor maintenance, lawns not mowed, impossible to get a sun lounge as towels are dumped there by 7.30am.

It was on the beach and had a nice pool.
Unfriendly staff, mould, poop in the guest toilet, no toilet paper, no soap, breakfast below average, and everything needs maintenance. I would not recommend it and it’s definitely not value for money.

Very little. In fact nothing! To start the reception lady, only 1 person, was ok until we change our first room as it was disgusting, was not so nice after all! The second room was also very smelly and mouldy ,sheets and pillows were really bad! The room is in need of major overall, but I believe it was nothing better on offer. Very disappointed with the room, I also asked if it was a deluxe! The answer was yes. Breakfast was another story with barely no one speaking any kind of English! The food was ok,I guess! I don't know why Booking.com have them on there book! According to other people, their view is pretty much the same. Taxi drivers say that sometime major things brake down. The location is good by the beach . The pool is ok .
I believe I already said it above.
We will not go back there and I do not encourage anyone to do so. But again feel free to try . I forgot to mention the bathroom! Horrible. Everything was quite dirty , sewerage smell , broken door x2 , taps hard to manoeuvre. I couldn't take any photos as the space on my phone wouldn't have been enough.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Great location right on the beach.
Very tired and run down needs alot of TLC. Breakfast adequate but not alot of choices. Water pressure really poor and towels looked awful Gray not white. Beds really hard.
3.5
The food was very good. A good selection of fruit, local Bali food and omelettes. Tea, coffee and grit juice also available,
Some guests came to to breakfast without wearing a shirt. People should be appropriately dressed.

Love location as close to favourite massage girls, markets, coffee shop Luhtu’s, beach, swim in sea. Breakfast limited this time, have stayed often in the past and choices were better. Beach not raked and cleaned each day, we stayed 10 days and bench out front still had old coconuts on it the full time.
Choice at breakfast of fruit, cleaner beach, swept paths out front more often. Place looks sad, needs an update, know money is a problem after covid but will not attract people as is. Lack of English with new young staff, confused messages.

This is a lovely place that, I can see, has had it's heyday and is now, while beautifully situated on Sindhu beach with great access to the water, etc... a little tired. The basics... cutting the lawn, keeping the fittings clean, ensuring the small things like tissues in the room, or a room service menu, or instructions for where the light switches are... that'd be good. AND.. that said, the access t o so many fabulous channels on the TV was remarkably good!!! so kudos for that. What a mixed bag. Very lovely staff... and a pretty tired establishment.
The breakfast, for starters... choice was fine. But small things.. like er.. labels on the dishes... something enticing... a more inviting explanation of the extras. there were lovely Balinese cakes one day.. but not a word about what they were.. if you didn't know... well, missed out. The very outdated toaster, which had t o be operated by a member of staff.. .seemed like 'making work'.. hello? we know how to operate a toaster and it seemed silly to have to watch someone tong a piece of bread on topof the toaster (it was not the usual shape of bread..a sliced baguette) and then... oh it was silly.
Rather awful choice of jam. Horribly plastic looking, fluoro-coloured somethign or other.. parading as jam.
yes, nice choice of fruit and cheeses, even and ... if you were in time, some croissants.. but it was all too variable...
add to that... two bags for a large pot of tea??? awfully weak and tasteless really... so... again, a mixed bag.

I loved being so close to the beach. Also very close (5mins) to walk to the shopping area. I loved that I could get up early and watch the sunrise just a one minute stroll through the lush gardens onto the beach.
Nothing that i didn't like. The Hotel is old and dated. So as long as you know this its ok. It is perfectly clean and comfortable. Staff attentive.
