Great location. Friendly welcoming atmosphere. Comfortable 6 person dorm which my son aged 14 and I shared. Quiet and respectful accomodation. We were able to sfore our bags for €5 while hiking the day of check out. Easy to reach by bus.

Accomodation was so popular we were only able to stay one night.

The atmosphere of the hostel is very zen and relaxing and chill. Made me feel welcome and at home. The volunteers were super friendly! Yoga class every morning, which is very nice to start the day!

This place is really what it promises to be. Not only does it embrace the yoga atmosphere and offers courses in the mornings, but it's the little details that matter, for example do they provide you with an actual ergonomic pillow instead of a cheap thin one. Everything is perfectly equipped and exceptionally clean. People and volunteers are nice. Cute entrance door. Well-located. Smells good.

Be aware of the head space when entering the building (door is really small). The only real downer is that the dorm window faces the street, therefore it's best to close it during the night and keep the door to the entrance area open. Otherwise you won't be sleeping for long.

Really nice private room, clean and confortable. The shared bathrooms were also really clean. The staff was nice. The place is located 14 min walking from the beach and close to some bars in the village. There is a free public parking 3 min walking from the place.

Price is cheap and the location is central.

It doesn’t look like the picture. The room was disappointing, had no window and was very hot.

Calm, relaxed, great location in old city center, super service.

Agaete is a charming town

Noisy for a clam place. You can - hear people passing by the street night/ morning. - yoga teacher using his microphone early morning to taught 4-5 students in a small terrace. - when class is over they all gather to PAY and chat at the reception around 9-10. Lack of plugs around the common areas, only one at the terrace. The terrace close at 22. The common area downstairs is very small and connected to most of the rooms : inconfortable to work from and hangout at night when the terrace is close. One proper bathroom and 1 beach toilet and 2 beach showers for many guests. After check out you're not allowed to stay at the hostel :/ if you need to wait for a bus, boat or something else you stay outside :// or pay for a late checkout/ night. Very dispoionted by the last point.

Cozy hostel with lots of attention to detail and a spacious rooftop lounge. Plenty of outdoor activities nearby (hikes, beaches) and Yoga courses on the rooftop in the morning. The teacher was great! Met wonderful people of all ages and had great conversations. Lovely home away from home. :)

Everything was fine, I hope to be back!

Everything was so calming, it almost felt like being at home and it totally is a place where you can stay to disconnect while traveling. The location is good, the bus is at 1min walking, and the place has a useful guide about near interesting places to visit.

Our room didn’t have so much ventilation, it was so hot at night. Also, the pressure of the water from the shower was so little.

A really positive experience! The girls at the reception are really nice and welcoming. Hostel easy to find. Really nice and big terrasse. Free coffee and tea! Big fridge. Almost no noise from the street. Quiet area. Two banks near and some little restaurants near. 15 min walking from the port de las Nieves.

I didn’t see any supermarket close by, maybe I’m wrong but I thing the nearest supermarket is at Port de las Nieves, so 15 min walking. They don’t accept payment by card, but there are 2 banks at 2 min walking. We were only 2 persons in the shared room of 6 so we had a lot of space and no noise. Could feel a bit tiny for 6! One of the shower didn’t have a lot of pressure.

Good location

Room on grand floor, u can not open window. To hot and loud from street to sleep. Mattress need to be exchanged . Kitchen very tiny.

this place has an amazing vibe. The rooftop, the yoga platform and just everything. the staff was really nice. they offer meals and have good tips about the area.

Clean, friendly and beautiful place for a soul and mind

It is a calm hostel in the center of the town. The volunteers working there were really amazing!

This is a great place to stay if you are looking to relax, it's set in a beautiful location with a very local feel. Casa Calma is beautifully decorated, the rooftop is great especially if you like yoga in the morning! I really enjoyed the yoga classes, especially the essential oil at the end, really nice touch. It is a relaxing, quiet place as opposed to a loud, party hostel. There is a large supermarket 10 minutes walk, many hikes nearby. Would stay again and would recommend!

I would have liked some more flexibility with the late charge fee (I was 30 minutes over the time due to my flight and 2 busses i needed to take and needed to pay 5 euros) also to keep your bag there the day you leave, you also need to pay 5 euro as a 'late check out'. However I also accept that the rules are in place for a reason. I would also have liked the option to pay online or by card directly as there are only 2 banks in the village which were not mine and my bank (although being Spanish) charge to withdraw money so take this into account- take cash!
