The lunchwas great the service was fantastic over all i love the peaceful atmostfair it was grand to have stayed at the Royal Islander Hotel all the staff was nice & loving

I liked Nothing.
I didn’t like anything the whole building just looked old and run down and creepy. Nothing was likable to me. From the staff straight down to the people that stayed in the hotel(guests).

The maintaining of the appliances.
The air-conditioning unit it stopped working I had to change rooms and in that room the filter was dirty I cleaned it myself and it made the room smell molded. The refrigerators needs to be serviced. Y'all really needs to up grade the bed linings and the curtains.

The photos on line looked great, when I got there I could hardly recognize the place it looked so shabby. The tiled room floors were cleaned with something oily and my bare feet turned black with dirt walking on them. there were tiny mites, bugs, all over the counter top and side table. the side table had a foot missing and wobbled badly. the bath tub shower was old and rusty in places, and the shower head had very low flow. it seemed clogged. The shower water was nearly cold on the first morning and just luke warm on the second day. there was booming music playing till late at night from outside one room and I could hear people talking loudly through my adjoining wall. the pool was cold so I didn’t swim. I had a breakfast of bacon and eggs that was cold. The bacon was fatty. The restaurant was not open for dinner. thank goodness. the hotel had very few guests staying there. The staff were really nice. as was everyone I met there on that island, happy, good honest helpful people.

I had to call front desk 4 times for fresh linen. I had to then ask my best friend to call and when she called they sent up a few.

Booked in booking.com get to the hotel only to be told no rooms because nobody in office on weekends to process the booking made on booking.com
