Our family had an excellent trip overall. The place had everything we needed for a family that cooks. It was a quiet place at the end of the road overlooking the river. It was relaxing to sit out front with a cup of coffee listening to the trickle of the river and watching the deer. We would definitely stay again.

The property was exactly as pictured and described in the listing. We were able to walk a short 20-30 yards downhill to the river. The river itself was really shallow at that particular area, which is perfect if you have little ones. In the house, there was plenty of room for everyone.

We had a great experience here! The house is very roomy, and the location is excellent. Lots of outdoor space to relax. We had 3 adult couples and the house fit us all comfortably, The hosts were very responsive, and the check in/check out process was easy. We only had one issue while staying and the hosts responded quickly to our concerns. Overall we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great weekend!

The property and house were absolutely beautiful. The river is low there so it was perfect for little ones. The kids play set in the yard was a plus. There was so much room in the house and on the property for everyone to spread out. The front porch was the best for me. So relaxing to sit and look out at the river and have my morning coffee. You can watch tubers float by all day. The Lone Star Float House is just about right across the river if you want to float. You can just walk across and go. The host, Ms. Sophie is wonderful. I would go back time and time again. Sandra Miller

We had a great relaxing time. The house was clean had all the the kitchen & laundry room supplies/utensils available we needed. Beds were comfortable, A/C worked great, bathrooms were clean (could use bigger toilets for the bigger butts LoL). Outside was nice, clear view of toobers floating by. River accessible, we floated down to Lonestar Float House which is right across the river from house for beers, & burgers. They have live music on Sundays. Property has plenty of shade and 100 feet from the back of house is a really tall beautiful rock ledge, so there are no neighbors in any direction and there is a gate that we kept closed at the beginning of the driveway. We spent the nights around the fire pit and used the large Weber charcoal grill for grilling. Front patio was spacious and nice for morning coffee, there is plenty of space for parking. See if you can find the Texas van. We'll definitely be back. There is a park up the road that we were exploring and got run off by a lady that lived next to it. So stay out of park area.

This house is beautiful! It was very peaceful and serene. The house is very well kept and clean. The yard is amazing, a few steps to the river. We enjoyed a campfire nightly. Will definitely plan another trip here. And..the coffee was perfect on cool mornings!

This is our 2nd annual river trip and staying at this great house. We will stay here again and again. Only thing I wish they had was coffee but that’s it! Would recommend over and over! Loved it!

This is actually our second year going back to back and as usual it was a blast. The home is always perfect, clean and ready for us. The owner Ms. Sophie is awesome always quick to help or if anything is needed she’s there. We will definitely rent again in the near future. We were so satisfied!

Pictures and description do not do justice! This place was perfect! The home itself sits on a few acres overlooking the river. There is a trail with stairs straight to a rock on the river perfect for setting up a canopy and enjoying your day by the river and also very easy access to cross the river for tubing and shuttle purposes or to just hang out at the Lone Star Float House. The location of this precious property is perfect. The LoneStar tube rental place is Literally right down the river maybe 1,000 foot from the property. Me and my family were able to walk across the river to it and rent tubes, then get shuttled to the top of the river and float back down to the rental property. Just to be clear there IS RIVER ACCESS from the property maybe 300 feet from the front door, with steps going down to the river bank. When you get to the bottom of the steps there is a big rock that extends out to the river and is perfect for relaxing right on the river while tubers pass you by. There is a fire pit and grill on property that came in Great use, fire wood included. Sophia the owner is great at communicating in a timely manner and will answer any questions you will have. Searching for almost 10 years to find just the right spot for our annual river trip! The location, the house, the atmosphere was perfect for our tight group of 5 couples! Sophia was amazing to deal with, everything was easy! Will definitely be back!!

I was a little hesitant after booking to find the property is not located on river road. However, I found it to be exceptionally located and even better than expected. Property was located on the river and just across from the float company. My group loved not having to drive anywhere or deal with the traffic/noise on river road. House was a bit dated but very clean and well kept! Would definitely book again!

We went with a large group and it was so spacious! It was also SO easy to get to the river from the property. We used the rental place across the street to shuttle up and then floated back down to the house. Sophia was awesome and answered all our questions quickly and graciously! Definitely can see us coming back to this spot.

Check in was easy! Property was right on the river and beautiful! Bought our own floats, had access to the river and floated across the street to Lonestar and had them shuttle us. Got out of the river at the property so no one had to drive. It was great after drinking on the river. Beds were comfortable. Couldn't have asked for a better river house! We'll definitely use this home again!

It was very beautiful we did not expect to have the view and access to the river that we did. Property was big and sooo comfortable really made us feel like we were home. Property was clean and had more then enough room for my family. All i have to say is it was well worth it and the owner is so sweet helpful and very nice thank you so much Ms. Sophia

Location was great! The property was so pretty and peaceful. There was plenty of room for our large group of 8 adults. River access was a little tricky but totally doable! Right across from tube rentals! Will definitely stay here again. We loved it!

I rented this house as a birthday surprise for my husband. I invited a few friends who love to float the river as much as we do. The house is older, but is very accommodating with the amount of linens, dishes, kitchen utensils, etc. You do not have river access, but you do have full view of the river from the front of the property. Sophia was very communicative when needed which made for an easy stay. You will most likely not have service, but they do provide WiFi and a landline at the house.
