We had a wonderful time at this property. The home is spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. The beds are very comfortable, as is the furniture. The main floor deck is huge with wonderful views; we spent more time on that deck than anywhere else. The hosts were communicative and responsive to a couple of minor issues on check in... wonderful to work with. A minor issue... wifi is a little spotty; I was working the week we were there and Zoom/Teams was a little spotty. I think, though, that that is more an issue of the mountains than this house in particular. Overall we very much enjoyed out stay and recommend the property highly and without reservation.

We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful home. The views were breathtaking, The home was well designed and stocked with everything we needed. We really appreciated the comfortable deck fuimiture which is where we spent most of our time. . The beds were really comfortable too! For most of the trip it was just my husband and I but My husbands brother and his wife joined us for a few days. The house allowed for each couple to have their own space which made a really nice visit. This home is in a gated community with tons to do. We went hiking, rented our first ATV ( highly recommend)and) and the gym with its amazing view made workouts so easy. We rarely left the property.. We are hoping to be back soon! One of our best VRBO stays! Thank you!

Beautiful surroundings, prime location, huge and spacious home with everything we needed - thank you! Four families converged from North, East and South and found an amazing place for us just outside Boone and Blowing Rock. Everyone had enough space and more than enough to do (you know your family and how everyone needs something different). We couldn't have been happier with this VRBO.

This house was the near-perfect place for our extended family of 6 adults, 5 children, and 1 baby. The descriptions were accurate. We were not disappointed. The house is within an enormous gated ‘community’ stretching along a high ridge where gorgeous long-range views abound, including the one we enjoyed from the deck. Our family filled the house, but it never seemed crowded. When an additional 6 adults and 2 children joined us during the day for a family reunion, the house continued to serve us well. The kitchen was large with lots of counter space. The beds and bathrooms were very comfortable. We frequently gathered around the outside fireplace from early morning to well into the night. The owners were responsive, gracious, and quick to address any concerns. My family was talking about returning while we were still there. We had a wonderful stay.

The pictures do not do this property justice. Additionally, it was immaculately decorated with higher end furnishings, decorations and linens. We are a really picky group and at the conclusion of our stay not be member could point to anything negative.
The kids also wanted me to share they loved the costume closet as it occupied them for a solid 3 hours on a rainy day.
Last piece of information I’d like to share is about the BRMC. This place is awesome. Hiking trails, fire pits and the restaurant was delicious and absolutely clutch on two evenings when we didn’t want to drive to town. I’d highly recommend.

We love staying in the Blue Ridge Mountain club. The
On the Rocks house is perfect for our family of 8 and has some of the best private views. The porches and outdoor fireplace is such a great feature too. There is easy access to hiking trails and the Lookout Grill while still having the convenience of Blowing Rock, Boone and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

This was our 2nd time staying at this house. Amazing location, very peaceful setting. Neighborhood amenities really make this the perfect house. With the way the house is constructed, there is not much insulation separating floors, so it’s not a super quiet house, but our group was all going to bed and getting up around the same time so it’s not an issue for us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The layout was perfect for our family and as someone who loves to sit by the fireplace and read- it was my dream spot! The hosts were great at communication! Would highly recommend this cabin to stay at!

The Blue Ridge Mountain club is incredible and I honestly feel like this is the best location in the club. We were close to trails, we had views, and easy access to all of the amenities. We would love to come back.

On the Rocks is a beautiful, well appointed home in the Blue Ridge Mountain Club just outside of Boone, NC. The views and amenities were truly spectacular! We traveled to Boone for App State’s Graduation weekend and we’re 20-30 min away from campus. It was perfect! The home has two indoor and two outdoor living areas that let the 10 of us spread out and enjoy the fabulous views of the mountains. The kitchen had everything we needed and the large grill made it easy to have a great cookout. The other nice thing is that the home sits a short walk from a common pavilion with pickle ball, horseshoes, bocci, and huge fire pit( with wood) for have a campfire get together. It also is at the trailhead of a trek down to a waterfall and swimming hole( Blue Hole) and is minutes from the Lookout Grill restaurant on site. Overall a great experience and we hope to be back soon!

The view is spectacular and in a great location. We were able to walk to the pavilion and let the kids run while we built a fire to roast hot dogs and cook s’mores. They had everything to play with… balls for the pool table, balls for pickle ball, basketballs. Just fantastic. Can’t wait to go back!!

BRMC is a gorgeous community. The views are spectacular and the amenities are top notch. Super convenient restaurant located on the property with some of the best views in the county!! We plan to return in the summer so we can take advantage of the hiking and ATV trails along the property!

A beautiful property, but a little remote. If you want to get away, it is perfect. The house is wonderful, but you can hear everything through the floors. I would move the kids room so it is not over the master! Other than that, everything was great! Owner has provided everything you could need.

The house was decorated for Christmas and had a great home feel. The view is awesome and the subdivision offers a lot of great things that we did not get to take advantage of completely. Some of the family took advantage of the work out center and massages offered there.

This house is absolutely beautiful! The decor and furnishings are top quality. There were so many special touches, like charging cords, games, toys for the kids, blankets, frosty mugs, and on and on. Everything was clearly marked to take the guesswork out of figuring out how things worked or where they belonged. Well furnished throughout the home. Beautiful views from every window in the house. Excited to return for a different season.

Lovely place, outstanding views, nice place to gather. our group was so large we rented 3 houses, but this was main for enjoying dinner together. Very comfortable beds.

Wonderful Family Getaway!
The home was beautiful and beautifully decorated. Plenty of room for a family of eight! The views were absolutely breath taking, but there is a drive to get to it. It takes 30 minutes to get to Boone and Blowing Rock, but it was worth the drive. There is a wonderful hiking trail outside the back door that we took full advantage of! The owners were attentive when the e-mail check -instructions did not come through and make sure we received text messages. Our family had an enjoyable time!

Perfection
On the Rocks exceeded my expectations. When you go by reviews on VRBO and they are all 5 stars, you feel pretty confident that the place will be nice. But I really didn’t realize how amazing the location, views and amenities would be. Our family was there with our 3 small grandchildren. We were able to use the workout facility and restaurant up the hill from the house, and to play pickle ball and sit by one of the many fire pits steps away. We spent most of our time out on the amazing porch and grilled out there one of the nights. We even sat by the outdoor fireplace on the porch when it got a little chilly. The house was comfortable, inviting and well equipped. I’ve already sent the link to several people that are interested. And Angela, the owner, was very responsive and wonderful to work with. Book it! You won’t be sorry!!!
